What 2buy2 wants from a Management Accountant:

To support the Finance & Support Services Director in providingan efficient and high quality management accounting service to the Directors, Senior Management and to key customers on behalf of the business enabling it to achieve its growth ambitions.

Type of person we are looking for:

Ideally degree or equivalent qualified, you will also have up to 3 years’ experience of working in a management accounting role. You will be well advanced towards obtaining, or have recently obtained, a professional accounting qualification – CIMA/ACCA/ACA. You will have strong analytical, numeracy and Excel spreadsheet skills, excellent attention to detail and good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilitieswill include:

-Developing, managing and reporting annual budgets and associated rolling forecasts and variances.

-Preparation and agreement of medium term financial forecasts to support the business’s growth ambitions, identifying likely funding needs on a timely basis and providing support to senior management when submitting proposals to potential funders.

-Processing and provide KPI information to senior staff on areas affecting performance.

-Maintaining an effective system to identify charge-out rates for client services that ensure recovery of all costs of client work and achievement of business financial performance goals.

-Enabling effective financial management of major customer contracts and projects by establishing effective cost tracking systems, identifying direct and indirect costs incurred and bringing these cost together in spend and performance reports to senior managers and customers on a timely basis in accordance with contracted requirements.

-Analysis of data underlying supplier framework commission income to ensure completeness and accuracy of payment of income due and to support senior management in negotiations with framework suppliers.

-Providing ad-hoc reports on financial performance as requested by management.
