Fire trucks can’t get past all the cars. Residents can’t get to homes. Roads are county owned so county has to be the one to get the signs up etc. Emmitt is going to meet with the county and the owner ofFarmer Market on Tamina to get this figured out
3. Fromthe floor: New name for “Magnolia”. Not those in Magnolia proper. What are the boundaries and what does that mean for us?
Westwood Magnolia parkway improvement made and agreement with City of Conroe to pay them .5-1% to not annex Westwood or Target. We are in the jurisdiction of Conroe.
4. From the floor: Somebody is burning something toxic. Resident getting sick. Montgomery County said you can’t burn. You are able to burn anything that is on your yard. Not garbage etc. Leaves, limbs are ok. Drove around to try to find the cause. Solution: Call the fire department
Rick ask to motion to accept daily report. Makana to second.
Rick make a motion to rejoin the district of 1488 at $300 annually. Makan to second.
Emmitt gave report on the drainage:
1488 ditch finished with exception. Larger coverlet under Teakwood in the corner so water can flow straight out. Clean out the distance from Teakwood to where the new ditch is started. At Douglas fir to Shadberry, the drainage ditch has been cleaned out. Needs a little grading. Houses on Sugarbush, they have cleaned to the property line of Sendera Ranch. Hopefully we can get help with the county commissioner to work with SenderaRanch to open the ditch for better waterflow. The drainage easement between Shadberry and Mesquite will be worked on Tomorrow, Friday October 14th, once that is done, the contract will be complete for what they were hired to do. Once that is working properly, like to get started on Mahogany way to Conroe Huffsmith and weeping willow to work on drainage. No estimate. Years ago a small pipe was put in but it's not working. Need a bigger ditch similar to the one put in on 1488.
Rick asked if the ditch belongs to the core of engineers. Aerial easements need to be cleaned up.
Resident went to improvement district saying that the Nicaburr Creek cleanup hasn’t even started yet. Asked for other residents to come up to the meeting and petition. Board members of Improvement District said yes. Lawyer said no Issue got tabled. $80,000k+ just for the study. Also widening of Old Egypt during school time. Makana recommended to post to social media to get more people out to the meetings. Resident brought up improvement district is also changing the way the board members are chosen. Emmitt brought up that district members are were not even asked to vote. Resident said there at 4 active members in Westwood.
Makana asked to have a trunk or treat on Halloween. Approved.
