New York FXH tried our best to negotiate group rate with the following hotels. They are upper-middle to high-end hotels with rates ranging from $92 to $159 per room (tax additional), which is about 25% to 40% off the market rate. We do check out their rooms and make sure they are up to standards. We do have good experience with most of them before. Therefore they are definitely of higher price than very cheap motels and budget inns. But we do think our deals offer more value to our group. We strongly recommend you shop around to find the best bargain if your budget is really low. Do remember it is summer, the busy season, so book early to get the best deal. Our hold is for June 6th to 7th and some June 5th. If you arrives early on June 5th, but June 5 is not included in the deal, call to ask for same price.
June is a busy month, so our room block usually expires early. Most of the deadline is May 15, 2009 with the exception of Renassance which expires on May 8. And not all the blocked rooms are two-double/queen-bed rooms. Therefore, please book as early as you can.
Note that you will be responsible for your own booking and any expense occurred during your stay. New York FXH’s responsibility is no more than the negotiator of the group rate. We will not be liable for any room charges, additional day charges, cancellation charges, service charges, etc.
For large groups from other countries with most non-English speaking members, we do recommend you charter buses and travel as a group. We strongly recommend you look for the best deal for your group by yourself. If you and/or your travel agent feel some hotel deals below fits your need, and you decide to take large block of rooms, please also inform us in case we can be of some assistance.
Westchester area hotels:
You should fly to Westchester Aiport (HPN), La Guardia (LGA) and JFK airport for those hotels. Even though your transportation to and from those hotels to airport, train station, Fahui location can be served with taxi and/or public transportation, it is strongly recommended that you rent cars from airport or local areas and share transportation with other fellow practitioners. Current weekend rate in Westchester area is only $30 to $40 per day. LGA and JFK rentals are much higher. Consider renting minivans and travel as larger group instead. That saves you a lot of taxi cost, and give you more flexibility than public transportation. Most hotels here are very close to major highways that lead to airport, Manhattan, and Fahui location.
