We're hiring for our Lake Charles office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Determines project specifications by studying customer requirements and performance standards, completing technical studies, assisting project managers in preparing cost estimates.
Develops technical solutions by preparing and evaluating options, planning systems integration, isolating and correcting problems.
Works with a team to implement technical solutions by defining specifications, establishing integration strategies, configuring and programming PLC/DCS/HMI systems, conducting performance evaluations and code/configuration reviews.
Validates results by designing diagnostic tests, creating test procedures, conducting benchmark tuning/testing, identifying and resolving faults, assisting with installation, commissioning and startup of control systems.
Maintains project quality by establishing and maintaining project development standards documentation, application notes, and software libraries, training customer personnel, developing training manuals, responding to technical inquiries, escalating problems to engineering management, managing customer expectations.
Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging technologies, learning current and pre-release systems, products, platforms, and complimentary tools, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
This job requires at least 30% travel for project related work and site visits.

Education and Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent with at least ten years’ experience in field; Associates Degree in related field with at least eight years’ experience in field; or Bachelor’s Degree in related field at least five years’ experience. Job specific training may be interchangeable with education.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, we prefer an individual with knowledge of ABB Bailey infi 90, Emerson DeltaV or Yokogawa Centum/ProSafe, however will consider an applicate with a working knowledge of any of the following systems: Rockwell Automation, Honeywell Experion/ Plantscape, Invensys Foxboro I/A, Siemens PCS7, or other Control Systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer networking skills, experience programming/configuring PLC, DCS and HMI applications and working knowledge of PLC/DCS/HMI Systems and Software is required.

Control System Programming: 5 years
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver’s License preferred
