WAYNE E. MILLER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

The scholarship was created in honor of Wayne’s thoughts regarding the importance of higher education. Although Wayne graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia, and was a huge MU Tigers fan, this scholarship is not limited to any one institution. At this time this scholarship will be in the amount of $500 dollars ($250 to be paid first semester and $250 to be paid second semester.) Payment will be made to the institution of your choice upon proof of enrollment. Scholarships awarded but not used will be returned to the fund.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Must be a senior in high school to apply

• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA (show proof)

• Must be an upstanding citizen

• Must have two letters of recommendation

• Proof of enrollment must be within one year of the fall following graduation from high school.

• Must show proof of enrollment to receive each payment

Submit completed scholarship application page & essay to Mrs. Howren by January 19, 2018.

Scholarship will by presentation during Awards Ceremony or Honors Night at your High School.
