RawMindsImprovisedComedy Event project

Wellcome Collection’s Youth Programme has 15 places available on our RawMindsspring 2018project. We’relooking for talented and enthusiastic people, who are interested in confidence building and developing skills in comedy, performance, and event creation. All RawMinds projects are free to join.

The Project
This project will involve collaborating with other young people to produce an improvised comedy show inspired by our weird and wonderful collections. In this project, you will explore the joys of science, laughter and self-expression with improvised comedy professionals and leading science communicators. The project group will be led by our Youth Programme team and the LITTL (London Improv Theatre Training League) team from The Nursery Theatre.

You will take part in interactive workshops using the tools of improvised comedy, and spend time in our galleries taking inspiration from the objects you see and themes that emerge. Using everything you find out along the way, you will produce an improvised comedy show for your family, friends and the public.
