Welcome to the SWAT hosted 2016 Silver State swim meet. We hope everyone is ready to swim FAST for this year’s Silver State Swim Meet. Best of luck to all the swimmers.

Here are a few updates to note for the upcoming weekend. Please make sure all swimmers, parents and coaches read through this as it contains a lot of important information.

  1. The meet is a 5 session meet.

Friday PM:

Warm up: 3:00 PM Start time: 4:00 PM. All events will be positive check in. Positive check in will close at 3:15 PM. Est. end is 7:41 PM.

Saturday AM:

Warm up: 7:00 AM Start time: 8:00 AM. ALL events will be positive check in. Positive check in will close at 7:15 AM. There will be 2-25 minute warm up periods. Clear the pool at 7:50 AM. Meet start at 8:00 AM Est. end. 12:31 PM

Saturday PM:

Warm up: 12:40 PM (approximate). ALL events will be positive check in and we will be using chase starts to help speed up the session. Positive check in will close 45 minutes before the start of the session. There will be 2-25 minute warm up periods. Warm ups begin at 12:40 PM. Clear the pool at 1:30 AM. Meet starts at 1:40 PM (approximate) Est. end. 6:50 PM.

Sunday AM:

Warm up: 7:00 AM Start time: 8:00 AM. ALL events will be positive check in. . Positive check in will close at 7:15 AM. There will be 2-25 minute warm up periods. Clear the pool at 7:50 AM. Meet starts at 8:00 AM Est. end. 11:07 AM

Sunday PM:

Warm up: 11:20 AM (approximate). ALL event will be positive check in and we will be using chase starts to help speed up the session. Positive check in will close 45 minutes before the start of the session. There will be 2-25 minute warm up periods. Clear the pool at 12:10PM. Meet starts at 12:20 PM(approximate) Est. end. 6:26 PM

  1. Chase starts will be used in both Saturday and Sunday PM sessions.
  2. We will be combining heats for the 1500 freestyle. This will save 40 minutes by doing so.
  3. Warm ups will be divided into 2-25 minute warm up session. Warm up assignments will be on the landing page.
  4. The breaks that are scheduled in the time line will be a 5 minute in the water break followed by a 5 minute out of the water break for a total of 10 minutes.
  5. Heat sheets will not be sold. After positive check in closes heat sheets will be posted around the pool as well as in the stands. They will also be available on our landing page.
  6. All awards should be picked up at the meet. Ribbons go up to 20th place.
  7. There will be NO 8 and under staging. All events are 10 and under.
  8. Deck seeds will be $8.00.
  9. Time trials will be $10.00. Swimmers cannot exceed the 5 event maximum per day.
  10. If your swimmer signs up to either deck seed or time trial, and they are NOT entered into the meet, they will need to pay the $3.00 splash fee as well as the $5.00 facility fee.
  11. Time trials deadline will be at 4PM on Saturday and Sunday.
  12. All deck seeds and time trails are NON refundable with the exception of the swimmer achieving the state cut during the meet. That swimmer will receive a refund for that particular event that they signed up and achieved the state cut in.
