As part of your therapy program, you will be provided with a home exercise program, designed specifically for you. Please bring your exercise sheets toeach visit. They are an integral part of your recovery; and we encourage you to follow them as directed, onlydo the exercises that are indicated. If you experience increased pain or symptoms, adjust your position or slow down. If the pain persists, stop the exercise and let us know at your next visit. You are always welcome to call or email us if you have any questions or concerns; communication is important. We do have a dog and cat that live here at the clinic. Please let us know if you have any allergies.

For each visit: Ensure that you have breakfast or bring a lunch if you are attending during noon hourBring: clean running or walking shoes to wear inside the clinic, appropriate clothing and water, Please Notify us of any medications that you may require such as Epi-pens, Nitro Spray or inhalers

Use of clinic equipment: Please remember to stretch before using equipmentand USE SANITIZER to clean the equipment after use.

Additional Information:

  • We ask that you provide 24 hoursnotice to cancel an appointment. This is so that other patients’ have a chance to use those unused appointment slots. If it is less than 24 hours, a missed appointment fee will be charged.
  • We now offer web booking. Just click the link on our website.
  • If you require specific times, we recommend you book ahead as our schedule does fill up fast
  • For your convenience, available for purchase, including hot packs, ice packs, Nordic walking poles, Motion Medicine, Biofreeze,braces, pillows, therapy balls and theraband resistance bands, Therapy Balls and Bars, stability pads, Epsom salts, Tens etc.
  • When entering the driveway pleasego slow and be cautious of deer, the dog -Noosa, turtlesand chickens crossing the road (why do they???)
  • Disabled Parking is located beside sidewalk to South.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLINIC IS A SCENT FREE ENVIRONMENT.

Use of Salt Water Pool, Whirlpool bath and Steam Room:

The indoor 40 foot salt water poolis 4 feet deep for 30 feet and the last 10 feet is 5 feet for deep water therapy. The average temperature is 90 degrees. We have two showers available as well as a change room.

Hydrotherapy/Whirl Pool: TALK TO STAFF BEFORE ENTERING THE WHIRPOOL EVERYTIME.

Limit 10 min, temperature averages 103 degrees.

Steam BathPlease be careful when entering the steam room, steam on left is hot. 10 min limit.

Classes:

Aqua Therapy classes as well as swimmingand stroke improvement lessons both private or group are available. Please inquire about times available.

Please: Come to facility early to allow time to change and shower,

BRING A TOWEL, and if you like,a house coat

Do notwearbody lotion or oils on your skin.

If you have open sores or cuts, please do not use the pool

Remove jewelry, tie hair back or up. Remove Bobby Pins, and band aids.

Shoe/sandals should be worn to and from the pool.

Wear a comfortable suit that will allow you to move freely and bring a towel.

Be careful when entering the pool, as there is a slope at the bottom of the steps. Stay to your right when you reach the bottom. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking water before and after sessions.

Inclement Weather:

Thunder/Lightening: must wait 15 mins for thunder and 30 mins for lightening before entering the pool. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER POOL UNTIL TOLD BY STAFF
