Membership Information and Application Instructions

Eligibility:

New Members must own or have unrestricted use of a Jayco recreational vehicle.

“Cooling Off” period:

The Club has a cooling off period that lasts until 6 weeks after the second rally is attended. During this period New Members, or the Committee, may cancel the membership without reason and all nomination, club membership fees are refunded. We would ask that your two Trial Rallies are taken within 6 months of applying. If you intend to travel extensively between your two Rallies, please let us know so that we can extend your trial period to take this into consideration.

Fees and Costs:

Fees and costs of membership are:

a)A once only nomination or joining fee of $50.00 per application

b)An annual membership fee of $35 per couple, which covers the membership year from 1st January to 31st December. If your application and payment is received in the latter part of the year, i.e. October to December, you would not be expected to pay an additional membership fee in December of the same year.

Application and Monies to be paid:

New Members should attend two rallies to assure themselves that they would like to join our particular club. You are not obliged to join.

All parts of the Club's official Application Form must be completed and submitted to the Club Secretary. Full membership becomes effective once the application is accepted and approved by the Club Committee following the two trial rallies.

Send your Application and Cheque, to the address shown on the front of this form. Please let the Club Secretary know if you have made a payment by Bank Transfer.

Attending Rallies:

New Members cannot attend Club rallies or functions until their application has been accepted by the Committee. This is required for insurance purposes.

After submitting an application and payment to the Club Secretary and receiving Committee acceptance, the Club’s Rally Coordinator will contact New Members to arrange the date and place of their first rally.

It is in our constitution that all Members must attend 3 Rallies per year. If a circumstance prevails', a letter in writing to the Secretary is required regarding any absence (illness, extended holiday etc) to hold your position in the club.

Members nominate themselves and commit to attending a Rally by putting their name on the appropriate sheet in the Club’s Rally Book. This can be done at Rallies, or by contacting the Rally Coordinator who is the custodian of the Rally Book.

Pets

Members are not permitted to bring animals to Club Rallies, functions and activities

No Smoking

Smoking is not permitted at Club Rallies and functions.
