Welcome to the CIA/BR Pot of Gold Tournament!!

Thank you for your entries; we are expecting 41 teams and we will have 2 rings. We have managed to provide each team with 40-42 heats (30 for Veterans). We will be running 2 rings so racing should go by quickly. Please help out with line or box judging if you can.

Racing Format

The complete race format is outlined on the seed chart which is located on the website. Warm ups will be2 minutes and may be reduced if needed.

We will be using one race schedule for the two rings. We have convinced Ron that the best thing he can do this weekend is to be Maitre-D- aka pit boss. Teams will be handed their C2 form to take to their assigned ring. Please note that you must pick up your C2 form and ring assignment from Ron before proceeding to the ring. Teams will need to have one member see the Pit Boss at the MaitreD table to receive their C2 form to take to the assigned head table.

Fastest overall time in division

If still tied, fastest time head to head

If still tied 2 out of 3 tie breaker race

Judges

Geoff Brown will be in charge of Ring A. Aimee Walker will be judging in Ring B. Leerie Jenkins Scott Rideout have also graciously agreed to help out when needed to provide either judge needed breaks. Please thank our judges!

Venue Information

The building will be open from 1 pm until 8pm Friday if you wish to drop off your flyball box. There will be no crating in the race building; however, crating is allowed in the smaller building and at any of the outside covered pavilions. RVs are allowed on site; however, RVs are not permitted to stay overnight.

Racing will begin at 8:00 a.m. each day. There will be several breaks during the racing days. These are needed to help with the tight schedule many teams have in the day.

Food

There will notbe an onsite food vender. There are many local dining establishments close by. We have provided at 40 minute lunch break to accommodate those who would like to go into Franklin. Please see chart at end of welcome letter for a list of locations.

Raffle

There will be a raffle as well as games available throughout the racing day. Please stop by and play!! Drawing will be on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. (or as close as we can arrange). Results will be posted. We will also be holding a workers raffle- winner receives CASH!!!
