“Imagining/Inuit/Imagining”

Registered delegates will received a conference kit upon arrival at the registration Check In desk from 5-9 pm Wednesday evening, October 22, 2008 in the Cross Common Room, Room 108, St. John’s College, or during the day at the front entrance to Saint John’s College.

Please Note: Important Program Change

On Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 7 pm, there will be a 52 minute film entitled, “Le Voyage de Charlie” presented by Dr. Bernard Saladin d’Anglure in Room 108-Cross Common Room, St. John’s College.

Refreshment breaks will be held in the Cloister, outside the Chapel, at St. John’s College.

Winnipeg Transit Services

Please see Map 6 & 9 for bus number 60 Pembina, University of Manitoba. If you are taking a bus to University from Place Louis Riel, you can catch Bus 60 Pembina Highway from the Millenium Library that will take you on site. Departure from the University of Manitoba will also be Pembina Number 60 beside the Tier Buiding.

Food

Food is provided to all registered delegates. Lunch will be served in the Cross Common Room, Room 108 Cross Common Room Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 Noon to 1:30 pm. Please bring your lunch ticket!

Bus Transportation: Friday Evening Banquet

The Banquet is being held in the Winnipeg Art Gallery in the Ferdinand Eckhardt Hall during the evening of Friday, October 24, 2008. A King’s Transportation Bus will be available with a ride to the event. Boarding time is 6: 00 pm and the bus will leave at 6:15 pm from the Holiday Inn South, 1330 Pembina Highway to the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG). A bus is scheduled to return to the hotel at 11 pm sharp, from the entrance of the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
