Summer 2015

There will be one trial date as follows:
Sunday 8th February
10.00 am to 12.00 noon
Kingsmead Netball Centre, High Wycombe
Matches are held at Kingsmead, early matches start at 7.00 pm and late matches start at 8.25 pm. All games consist of four quarters of 15 mins each. Practices are either held at Kingsmead Netball Centre or Monks Risborough Primary School.
A payment of £60 is required for over 18s which includes a club subscription of £25 for the year running from April 2015 to March 2016 and an England Netball affiliation fee of £35, which we are required to pay for every player before her first match, covering the period ending August 2015. The affiliation fee includes cover for civil liability insurance and personal accident (for full details visit England Netball website
For under 18s, a payment of £28.50 is required which includes a club subscription of £5 for the period March 2015 to August 2015 and an England Netball affiliation fee of £23.50 covering the period ending August 2015.
If you have already been affiliated with one club this season then you will pay a reduced affiliation as 2nd claim for Princes Risborough. Please ask for details of the exact amount which depends on where your 1st claim club is.
You must pay £35 at the trials you attend to cover the affiliation fee before you are able to play any matches for the club (£23.50 if you are under 18). If you are not selected for a team, of course, you will receive a full refund. The club part of the fee is reduced to £12.00 for those over 18s who are in full-time education. If you are selected for a team, you will also be asked to pay court fees of about £28.00 for the summer season (depending on the size of team/squad).
The season starts in March, usually 2nd or 3rd week (tbc).
If you are selected to play for a team, you must agree to and accept the code of conduct for adult or junior players and for under 18s, your parents/carers must also agree to and accept the code of conduct for parents and carers. You must be prepared to make a commitment to the club and be able to play regularly on the night the team is playing. You must give the team captain at least 48 hrs notice, if you are unable to play ensuring that the captain has enough time to find a replacement. You must be prepared to carry out such duties as Scoring, Stewarding and Kingsmead jobs as required by the club.
You must supply and wear kit in our club colours which are black and jade. Kit can be purchased from club stock or directly from Godfrey Sports via their website by selecting Princes Risborough from Club Kit Pages.
Please note that team players are expected to attend club practices which are held twice a month on a Saturday morning at Monks Risborough Primary School, 9.15 am to 10.45 am unless you have an unavoidable regular commitment (eg Saturday job). Dates of arranged practices up to Easter are 24th Jan, 28th Feb, 14th March and 28th March. Your captain or club coach (Lynn Rockingham) should be informed if you are unable to attend.
