The Big 12 Conference outsources to PayOGFE.com all payments to officials in all sports. PayOGFE’s GamePay Service, a Web-based fully-integrated payment and reporting system, enables the conference to make payments more quickly, more accurately, and with greater control and security. GamePay improves the ability to identify payment problems more readily and to rectify them more quickly.
Officials paid through GamePay realize important benefits as well. Once registered on the service (at no cost), an official can:
· Check the status of all events in the system for him or her. Events appear in one of three status categories: new (entered into the system but not yet approved); in-progress; or paid.
· Check the status of payments and details about them.
· See the breakdown of payments by game fee, per diem, travel, etc.
· See the events that make up a given payment.
· Choose payment by direct deposit or check.
· Make online changes to profile information, including name, address, telephone numbers, email address, or payment option (we do not require a voided check if you choose direct deposit). All changes take effect immediately.
· See year-to-date 1099 earnings at any time.
· Receive year-end 1099 from PayOGFE.com on behalf of the Big 12.
· Choose voluntary federal income tax withholding, which can be changed at any time.
· Communicate directly with PayOGFE.com about payment questions or issues. We then communicate with the Big 12 if necessary.
What You Need To Do
The Big 12 has already entered a provisional profile for each official, who will be paid whether or not she or he registers on GamePay. But, one must register in order to get a user name and password, to confirm accuracy of profile information, and to access event and payment information. An official must register to choose payment by direct deposit. Again, there is no cost to an official for registering on or using GamePay.
When the Big 12 created an official’s provisional profile, GamePay generated a Provisional I.D. that is required for registration. You may obtain the Provisional I.D. and instructions on how to register and to use GamePay in one of two ways.
1. Send an email message to with the following information:
Name
Telephone number
Email address
Last 4 digits of social security number
PayOGFE will respond with an email that gives you your Provisional I.D. and instructions on how to register and to use the system.
2. Call the PayOGFE.com Help Desk at 877.729.6433. A customer service representative will talk you through the registration process and instructions on using the service if you are at computer (which is helpful). Otherwise, the representative will send information by email.
You may register on GamePay before you work any events. All officials should already be in the system and already have Provisional I.D.s assigned to them.
