School Activities

Our children and staff celebrated our heritage on Thursday 28 September. It was a colourful day filled with happy songs, dances and real South African food. Thanks for all the support and I hope you all enjoyed the videos and photos we posted on our facebook page, Vuleka St Martin’s Jellicoe. Make sure to like our page!
Please motivate your children to focus on their Academic work this term. We only have a few weeks before we start with final exams and formal assessments, so now is the time to start revising every afternoon and to ask teachers for help if there are areas of need.
Children should eat healthy, get enough rest and have very LIMITED screen time!
Our chess team had another successful tournament at St Mary’s this week. They are making us proud with their efforts and clever moves.
Congratulations to the grade 6 and 7 children who participated in the Pendulani book quiz. They did their best and Mfundu Sibisi won a book prize. Well done to all involved.

We will continue with our training at Pirates club this term, alternating between swimming, hockey and squash. The cost this term will only be R100, so please send the money to the school as soon as possible.
