Teacher’s Comments:

Thank you so much for sending back the yellow highlights paper! Regardless of yes or no’s the class will get some free things to help us in our classroom! I will send more yellow papers home as they send them to me! Just keep signing and sending them back!

The first couple of weeks have been so great! What super kids you have sent me! I am so excited to see them each day! They come with such big smiles and so eager to be here! That is a teacher’s dream!!

You probably are wondering what we have been doing in class since not much paper stuff has been sent home! I went a little book/packet crazy and all of what the kids are working on are in books! Needless to say you will be getting the books just not for a couple of weeks! Some of the books we have been working on are:

  • An art/colors book! We are learning different art techniques with each color!
  • Read it! Write it! Color it! Book. We are brainstorming and writing all about colors!
  • ABC Book! We are beginning to our study of letters!
  • September Calendar Book! We are learning all about the Calendar
  • Numbers 1-10 Book!

I really did go nuts with the books!

Has your child told you about Mrs. Huddleston? If not ask your child about her! She is our Student Teacher for the next couple of months. She is super excited to be here! I am super excited to have her! You are in for a big treat because your child gets 2 teachers for a very critical part of kindergarten! 2 teachers to say good job! 2 teachers to help with one on one! 2 pair of eyes to watch and teach! The list can go on forever!

Thanks a bunch!
