Augment Your Research Team with Students from UROP

Faculty: you are invited to submit your research projects to the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). UROP offers students an opportunity to earn paid experiences as research assistants on faculty-led projects. For many students, working closely with a faculty mentor represents one of the highlights of their academic career. At the same time, faculty can also benefit by having enthusiastic and engaged students working directly alongside them. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

For more information, please visit under the “Faculty” tab or contact Andre Louis at .

Indirect costs are the operational costs that accompany all grant activity at the University. They are sometimes called IDC, Facilities and Administrative costs, or F&A. The federal government determines the amount of IDC the University is allowed to recover as part of a grant award. Unless otherwise noted in the sponsor guidelines, these are the current IDC recovery rates:

All Sponsors*July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2016

  • Research: on campus:55%|off campus:26.0%
