November-First graders will be given 1 minute test on segmenting words (/d/ /r/ /u/ / m/), reading a short passage, beginning sounds, sight words, missing numbers, counting to 120, and number recognition 1-20. Please review a couple of these skills nightly. Fluency, speed, will be the factor. They know the skills; how fast can they go? (1 minute for each)
