DJ Public School Christmas Gifts
The church has decided not to coordinate Christmas gifts for DJ Public School this year. It has been a wonderful program, and we thank you all for your generous contributions in past years, but we feel this type of program is being done well by other community organizations and we are excited to contribute in other ways. We are looking forward to partnering with DJ in an ongoing program in the new year (details coming soon, see Jackie Bryan).
Secret Sisters
For those who are participating in the Secret Sister Program, the Christmas season is a great time to show your Secret Sister through a small gift/card that you are thinking of them. Our Secret Sister reveal will take place in January.
New Bible Study – “Wonderstruck”
A ladies’ Bible study using “Wonderstruck” by Margaret Feinberg will be beginning Tuesday, January 16th @ 7:15 PM here at the church. See the bulletin board in the foyer or talk to Eileen Ramsay for more info.
Christmas Tree
One of our favorite holiday traditions is getting the family together to decorate the tree, and this year we want to do that with our church family too. Please bring in an ornament to contribute to our foyer tree and place them in the basket on the altar. We can’t guarantee we will get them back to you, so please no heirlooms.
Community Christmas Dinner
The Community Christmas Dinner will be held at SFDCI on Dec 16th, 4-6pm. This is our yearly opportunity to love our community by providing an amazing Christmas feast. Signups for food donations are in the foyer if you would like to contribute, but also we hope to see every one of you there. We are also seeking helpers who are able to donate time in the kitchen starting at 9AM. Please see Wayne Justason or Pastor Randy.
Primetime Christmas Dinner
The Primetime Christmas Dinner will be December 19th @ 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Please sign up in the foyer.
