Web App for NAFTA Region FindsSuitable ContiTech Air Springs
- Mobile service offering for the replacement market in the NAFTA region
- Product information in imperial units directly on the smartphone
- Now available in Spanish as well
Louisville, Kentucky, March 2014. ContiTech Air Spring Systems has expanded its web app for the replacement market in the NAFTA region. The mobile service offering has recently been made available in Spanish as well. The web app has been tailored specifically to the replacement market in America and enables users to conveniently find the very ContiTech air springs they need via smartphone. The application shows only the air springs that ContiTech offers on the replacement market in the NAFTA region. It supplements the web app that was launched for the European product range back in 2012. "The American market is increasingly important for us," explains Alexander Papadimitriou, head of the Commercial Vehicle Replacement segment at ContiTech Air Spring Systems. "With the new mobile app, we aim to offer our customers a special service based on our expertise as a recognized original equipment manufacturer in the NAFTA region." As a matter of course, the product descriptions on the new web app also meet the requirements of U.S. customers. For example, all technical data is given in imperial units.
The new web app is available at the website. It can also be loaded directly onto the smartphone by scanning the corresponding QR code found on information brochures and advertisements. The app finds the right ContiTech air springs when the user enters a competitor's designation or the OE part number. In addition, a sub-menu enables users to obtain valuable product information such as technical data and drawings based on the ContiTech online catalog.
