I. Call to order by President Kim Jordan
II. Motion by Rose Stipek, second by Dale Elliott, to approve minutes from January 8, 2008, Board of Directors meeting, adding at the end of the first sentence in V. Discussion Items, A. “as our membership fee.” MOTION CARRIED
III. Correspondence—None
IV. Action Items
A. After a vote by the WEAC-Fox Valley Board of Directors, and a motion by Noelle Mudrak, second by Dale Elliott, three posters will be submitted to WEAC for the next level in the 18th Annual Poster Contest. MOTION CARRIED
B. PAC Contribution (WI Supreme Court Race—Louis Butler no longer able to receive PAC funds)
C. Motion by Stephanie Malaney, second by Noelle Mudrak, should WEAC-Fox Valley and Bayland recommend a candidate for the Outagamie Circuit Court Judge Race, WEAC-Fox Valley will donate $1,000 of PAC monies, provided the candidate survives the primary. MOTION CARRIED
D. Motion by Rose Stipek, second by Chris Van Ryzin, to approve a $1,250 contribution to Soglin Consulting, LLC. MOTION CARRIED
E. Motion by Ann Cattau, second by Noelle Mudrak, to approve a $500 contribution to DPI Research on School Funding. MOTION CARRIED

B. Election of State Delegates to the NEA RA
C. Motion by Corey Otis, second by Dale Elliott that the WEAC-Fox Valley Board of Directors make no recommendation for the Outagamie Circuit Court Branch III Race. MOTION CARRIED
Motion by Patty Barrette, second by Chris Van Ryzin, that the WEACFox Valley Board of Directors recommend Nancy Krueger for the Outagamie Circuit Court Branch II Race. MOTION CARRIED
