V8 P.C. Link

A Smart Box, Connects to the Vehicle or Trailer diagnostics plug & Sends CAN Data via Bluetooth to the Laptop for viewing on screen, in easy to read format.

Jalsoft

A current & up to date Software package to load to a Laptop which reads in to the vehicle ECU via the PC Link and Diagnosis the faults giving a readout , also wiring diagrams, reports + component description and location. Also a Fault Symptoms and Correction for Engine, Brakes, Suspension, Gearbox.

Complete HGV & PCV Connectors Cables Kit

To connect to:- DAF – Scania – Volvo – Mercedes – Iveco – Renault – MAN – Dennis – Foden - Hino…….

Diagnosis of: - Brakes (ABS, EBS) Engine, Gearbox, Suspension, Air processor, Central Computer, Co-ordinator, Ad-Blue…………….

To be used to utilise direct battery power and also in the event of no proper plug connector.

E.T.M. Electronic Test Modulator (Optional)

The ability to Independently test EBS Modulators on the vehicle separate from the vehicle CAN system checking the Air Pressure, A.B.S. Sensors & Wear Pad Sensors cabling integrity. This is NOT a stand alone system, ETM requires Jalsoft & PC link to operate. ASoftware Update Fee is applicable.

Training

Initial 1 Day training, on delivery of the Jaltest at your premises. Then on-going assistance there after. Via telephone, Teamviewer, e-mail.

I can talk you through most of the copy / paste procedures over the telephone.

Reports

The ability to create and save reports for VOSA records or workshop maintenance, Also the ability to e-mail problems direct to Cojali

Expert Mode Pin Code

To enable you to, Copy/Paste/Save Trailer Parameters, Calibration of Clutches, Air Drier Processors, Height Sensors. An Expert Mode Contract requires to be registered on line first & also after every software update

Vehicle Codes OBD

On-Board dash-board codes can be converted by Jaltest to a readable format showing wiring diagrams and components. When the driver telephones in with the problem code, you can decide how serious the problem is and alert your maintenance people.

Fault Symptoms

New in C13.1 is the Fault Symptoms directory which is accessed by clicking on the relevant Vehicle Type, ECU type, then click on the question mark/spanner icon. You will now be able to see such things as Engine Will Not Start and a comprehensive check list of items and wiring diagrams to browse through. This applies for all vehicle makes and includes engine, brakes, gearbox, suspension…

Software Updates, Including F.R.I.

3 Software updates, over a 12 month period. These can be downloaded from the internet BUT, I will either come and load the update or post a dongle and talk you through the process, keeping your software updated and also keeping you informed of the latest developments in Jalsoft.

Software updates also require the client to License & Register their equipment on line during every update process.

In addition to posting a USB dongle included in the cost of software updates from C.V. Components Ltd is Faulty Replacement Insurance.

F.R.I.

Should the Jaltest P.C. Link unit you purchased from us prove to be faulty we will endeavour to have your unit collected A.S.A.P. and also provide you with a replacement Jaltest until such time as your unit has been repaired.

Technical Backup.

12 months Technical Backup. Fill out a Technical Document. and fax/e-mail it to me for assistance. If I cannot help I will forward it to Cojali for Info. & Wiring Diagrams etc.

License

A license code is required every 12 months for Software Updates & Technical Backup.

This requires a code to be generated and another code to be entered for the software to operate & update. I will take care of this and inform you of cost and when it is due again, also how to perform this function.

Assistance

My personal mobile for assistance. I will also install to the laptop a remote link programme via the Internet to enable either me to watch what you are doing or show you what to do, or even get Cojali to log in and correct any issues.

On-Line Assistance

Providing you have an Internet connection to your laptop I, or Cojali can connect to your Jalsoft program via Team Viewer and repair any issues that may have occurred. Team Viewer is part of the Jalsoft installation.

On-Site assistance,

I have A Customised Mobile Jaltest Vehicle to Backup and Support my customers who have invested in Jaltest. Complete with fast moving parts on board.

Faulty Jaltest - Loan Unit

In the unlikely event of a problem with your Jaltest, I will have it collected and returned to Cojali for repair. This is a type of insurance policy which is included in the annual cost of software updates.

2 Years warranty on Jaltest Hardware, 1 Year warranty on Durabook Laptop

I bought the first Jaltest in the UK. Hence I have seen it develop over the years.

I use it on a daily basis on vehicles & trailers, so I have hands on experience.

Manuals

Jaltest comes complete with an operating/setup manual contained within the Jalsoft program.

I have a Simulation programme on my laptop; hence I can lead you along over the telephone right to the point of diagnosis.

We are a Bona-Fide motor factor and can supply the modulators, cables, ecu, sensors, as we have direct accounts with major suppliers and have a fair understanding of components.

Extra Tools to Assist in Diagnostics

SENSOR MASTER, A sensor checker will save you time & money, Jaltest will diagnose which sensor is giving fault, i.e. R.H. Front, then use the sensor checker to test for open circuit, short circuit, ohms without dismantling from the vehicle/trailer.

If sensor is OK then check the extension lead, exciter ring, wheel bearings.
