Our East Anglian showroom is, situated on the Essex and Suffolk border, in Bures. It boasts one of the largest permanent displays of quality plantation teak garden furniture. If you visit us you have the opportunity to browse and try out all the garden furniture on display. All items can be mixed and matched. Any purchases made can be delivered immediately or at your convenience.
Bloomfield Furniture is owned and managed by Richard and Noreen Bloomfield. We offer a hands on personal service and endeavour to make your garden furniture buying smooth and as easy as possible. Teak [Tectona Grandis] is one of the world’s most valuable timbers. It has a naturally high oil and rubber content, which makes it extremely durable and resistant to rotting when exposed for many years to extremes of both summer and winter. It is resistant to wood worm and it is these qualities that for centuries have made teak the first choice for decking, construction and the finest garden furniture. The teak used in our furniture comes from plantations created by the Dutch 200 years ago and which are now controlled by the Indonesian government which ensures new planting for a continuing supply. Teak does not require any protective coating, and the use of applied oils is purely cosmetic and will not extend the life of the furniture.
