Dear Coaches,

We look forward to having you and your team for one of the season's first meets. Thank you for bringing them. We have a field of 500 plus swimmers coming to race. Please be aware of the following matters and share them with your families:

1.Parking at USC: Please remember that USC tickets until 5:00 Friday. For those arriving before that time, please use Bates House parking. A map and directions are attached. Any parking marked reserved is subject to towing. Parking in the lots adjacent to Blatt Friday after 5:00, Saturday and Sunday is not a problem.

2. Entry into the building: All participants and spectators must enter at the lower left side entrance of the Blatt Center under the black awning. The pool deck will be open to swimmers 20 minutes before the warm-ups begin. Swimmers, please remain in the observation area until the deck opens for your session. Please do not block the halls, stairs or doors. ADA access is through the front of the building

3. Timeline: The warm ups and start times remain faithful to the meet information EXCEPT the Sunday afternoon session. Please see below.

4. No heats have been eliminated due to time constraints. This is good news! However, expect the Saturday PM session to run long for those intending to swim the 500 Free. Remember that swimmers in distance events must provide their own timer and counter, if necessary.

5. Each team is encouraged to bring one adult on deck during the afternoon sessions to assist younger swimmers. This person must sign in with the volunteer desk and receive a deck pass. Only meet personnel and volunteers on deck.

6. Each team is asked to supply one timer per session. We greatly appreciate your help in this matter. We promise to treat them well. It is the best seat in the house.

7. We will be staging the” 8 and under” 25 yard events and relays to facilitate the safe arrival of our youngest swimmers to the blocks. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation with this plan.

8.Coaches meeting to be held outside hospitality 20 minutes before the first session Saturday AM. Please attend this important meeting.

9. Positive check in is a “coach only” task. Please do not send your swimmers to the positive check in table.
