* CALL TO WORSHIP
Here we see the richness of God’s love made real in the gifts of friendship, grace, food, and faith.
God’s presence keeps us going and gives us more than we need.
Come closer, search deeper; expect to receive daily bread and more.
God makes a place for all and gives to all.
* HYMN #288 “I Sing the Mighty Powers of God”
* CONFESSION OF SIN
Generous God, we praise you, for our lives are filled with blessings. We confess we have a tendency to dwell on the negatives in our lives instead of counting our blessings. We are too quick to grumble when things don’t go our way and too slow to give thanks for answered prayer. We are often jealous of the blessings of others.
(silent confession of sin . . . )
Lord, hear our prayers. Amen.

Help us to express our thanksgiving by sharing these blessings with others in our church, in our community, and in our world. Amen.
