Small group practice seeking highly skilled clinicians to provide outpatient therapy for individuals, families and groups.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with kids and adults and be willing to be trained in mind/body modalities, techniques and approaches.

Specialty working with kids encouraged.

This is a competitive position where clinicians are expected to have a thorough understanding of the DSM5, a basic understanding of psychopharmacology, solid documentation abilities, willingness to work with primary care providers and collateral supports, and possess a unique skill set in holistic, mind/body approaches to counseling, or willingness to be trained.

We are founded on Energy Psychology techniques and Compassion. If not already trained in this area, training will be necessary internally.

This practice offers a fun and relaxed schedule and environment. This is an office based position providing individual, group, couples and family counseling.

Our mission is to guide and support our clients through a journey of self-exploration, healing and spiritual growth through the use of various evidenced-based modalities and consistent interventions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prospective candidates will have a general understanding of holistic based interventions (CBT, EFT, Mindful Based Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Expressive therapy, Biofeedback, etc) and basic understanding or desire to learn naturopathic interventions. Yoga experience a plus (certainly not required).

Clinicians working in this setting may expect agency generated referrals, may bring existing clients or generate referrals on own. Prospective candidates must be motivated and possess the ability to generate a caseload based on the aforementioned methods.

Must be willing to work minimum of 25 hours per week. Saturday is not required unless it's the only option for the client.

We do ask that if the clinicians schedule during the week cannot accommodate the client, that a Saturday is offered.

MUST BE INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED

Qualifications and Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Specialty certification in hypnotherapy a plus
  • Certifications in Energy Psychology a plus
  • Training/CEU certificates for Children/Adolescents a plus

EDUCATION

  • Master’s Degree in Social and/or Human Services from an accredited school of social work, Counseling, or related field
  • Rhode Island Licensure
  • Must submit a BCI and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information.
