Saddle fits and consultations with Jochen Schleese
Dr. Heuschmann is happy to welcome as guest speakerCertified Master Saddler Jochen Schleese, with whom he worked on the video “If Horses Could Speak”. Jochen will be presenting a synopsis of the 9 points of saddle fit (Saturday during lunch) and discussing how the anatomy of horse and rider affect the biomechanics of the horse. You will learn how this ties in with Gerd’s lectures and teaching methodology. More about Jochen here:
Saddle fitting with horse is $159 plus applicable taxes + Free saddle pad as an event promotional special ($49 value). Spaces are limited so pre-payment is required by contacting 1-800-225-2242 xt 41. The saddle fitting includes an 80 point saddle fit evaluation analysis. Any adjustments made to the saddle are an additional charge payable at the time of the appointment.
Saddle fit consult (no horse, rider only). No Charge at the booth. Spaces are limited. Appointment times will be emailed out prior to the event. Pleaseemail expressing interest and they will email an appointment time to you.

Saturday Lunch Speaker, Jochen Schleese, will discuss saddle fit and its importance to you and your horses.
MONDAY—lessons all day at Magnolia Farms. On Monday we will have a roundtable discussion and Q + A with Gerd at Lunch
MAP WILL BE PROVIDED TO EVERYONE, PRIOR TO CLINIC. Do not worry, these places are very close to each other.
Spectators: please bring: a chair, (for Magnolia Farms-- viewing of the lessons, not for the lectures), notepad, and whatever else you would like to bring.
RIDERS: please try to arrive during daylight hours. Your horse will be staying at the lovely Magnolia Farms (off Hwy 90, midway between Wellborn and Live Oak). This facility has large 16 x6 stalls, individual turnout, as well as other amenities. Riders, please bring all necessary tack, feed, hay, etc for your horses, plus a chair…..not for the lecture , but to spectate the other lessons. SATURDAY NIGHT—7 PM—following the lessons at Magnolia Farm
We will have a dinner, snacks, appetizers: Please Bring beer, wine, snacks, finger food, lobster, shrimp (whatever you like…) .we will have a wonderful party.

Human accommodations: Magnolia has a limited # of guest rooms and cabins for rental, please enquire with Cathy
FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. Participants have priority (over spectators) for LQ spaces and guest rooms. If Magnolia is full, we can accommodate 11 LQ trailers at Wellborn Quarter Horses.
MOTELS
There areapprox. 30 motels in Lake City incl. Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Fairfield Inn, Country Inn Suites, and others. Lake City is about 15 minutes from Magnolia, and has many restaurants and stores.
Live Oak also has several motels at the exit (rt. 129) incl. a Holiday Inn Express, and Best Western. However, restaurant choices are less abundant than in Lake City. Also is about 15 minutes from Magnolia
Both Lake City and Live Oak have Super Walmarts near the motels.
