County Jail
Tracy Brooks of the Henry County Sheriff’s office gave a presentation on the proposed Henry County Jail Project, explaining the need and site for new building and requesting support for bond issue.

Fort moved and Rich 2nd a motion to purchase 2017 Arrow Forks (for backhoe) from Martin Equipment for $1550. 5 ayes. Motion declared carried.
Sewer Project
Barnhart moved and Ullery 2nd a motion to authorize City Clerk to sign Financial Services Agreement with Piper Jaffrey for Sewer Project. 5 ayes. Motion declared carried.
IT Block
Ullery moved and Miller 2nd a motion to purchase 10-hour block of Shift9 Labs IT Time (effective July for new hardware conversion). 5 ayes. Motion declared carried.
Res. #2017-10
Miller moved and Fort 2nd a motion to approve Res. #2017-10 “Resolution To Transfer Funds FYE18.” 5 ayes. Motion declared carried.
Res. #2017-11
Fort moved and Barnhart 2nd a motion to approve Res. #2017-11 “A Resolution Authorizing Wages and Benefits for City Employees for the Fiscal Year of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018”. 5 ayes. Motion declared carried.
Building Permits
The Building Permit Review Committee has approved a building permit for Norman Boshart to reside house and garage, replace 7 windows and remove existing deck at 204 W 2nd Street.
