4:30 amMeet at Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport – Terminal C for group check-in. It is recommended that groups arrive at least three hours prior to departure. Government issued photo identification is required of all passengers 18 years of age or older.

ArrivalWelcome to WashingtonD.C.! Upon arrival, head to the baggage claim where your Gateway Tour Manager, Melanie Morrisette, and coaches will meet you.

12:00 pm – 2:00 pmPractice at the Longbridge Park in Arlington, VA

SmithsonianExplore one of the fourteen national museums including the American History Museum,

the National History Museum and/or the Air and Space Museum.

Union StationUnion Station opened in 1907 and at its height during WWII, some 200,000 people passed through it every day. Today Union Station is one of Washington's busiest and best-known places, visited by 32 million people each year and has many shops, cafes and restaurants.

7:00 pmIlluminated Tour: A licensed Washington, DC tour guide will join you on your motorcoach for a narrated tour of the illuminated memorials and monuments.Be sure to have comfortable walking shoes and an umbrella, if needed.

8:30 amTour our nation’s capital with a licensed tour guide, driving past the National Mall, Washington Memorial, National Cathedral, Embassy Row, and much more.

SmithsonianExplore one of the fourteen national museums including the AmericanHistoryMuseum, the NaturalHistoryMuseum, the Air and SpaceMuseum and/or the National Zoo.

3:30 pmEnjoy time on your own to exploreThe National Archives Museumwhich depicts our astounding national mosaic and tells the stories of the American journey to young and old, scholars and students, cynics and dreamers.

5:00 pm Load coaches and depart for dinner.

5:30 pmHill Country BBQ

Menu: Family style dinner includes pulled barbecue chicken sandwich, cornbread, mac & cheese, confetti coleslaw, chocolate chunk cookie and fountain drink.

6:45 pmLoad coaches and depart for Kennedy Center.

8:00 pmAttend a concert at the Kennedy Center featuring the National Symphony Orchestra’s Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto/Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony – part of A Salute to Slava.

6:30 amCrystal City Sports Pub Breakfast Buffet

Scrambles eggs, smoked bacon, maple sausage, home style potatoes, assorted cold cereals, pancakes with syrup, fresh fruit salad and juice, milk and coffee.

Blossom ParadeParticipate in the National Cherry Blossom Parade. The Parade is a complex mix of entertainment including gigantic balloons, magnificent floats, specialty units,celebrity talent, special production numbers and marching bands.

4:00 pm-6:00 pmDinner Cruise:Cruise along the Potomac River and as you dine, the ship’s singers will entertain you. After dinner, dance to music provided by the on-board DJ.

7:00 amKing Street Blues Breakfast Buffet

Menu: Fresh scrambles eggs, bacon, maple link sausage, breakfast potatoes with peppers & onions, buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup, fruit, cornbread and choice of juice, milk or coffee.

8:00 am Load coaches and depart for Mt. Vernon.

9:45 amTake a self-guided tour at George Washington’s Mt. Vernon Estates and Gardens. You will have time to tour the Mansion house, George Washington’s tomb, and several of the 12 outbuildings which include the slave quarters, kitchen, stables and greenhouse.

1:00 pmLoad coaches and depart for Arlington National Cemetery.

Arlington

Cemetery Tour the Arlington National Cemetery. Important sites not to miss include: The Tomb of the Unknowns,Robert E. Lee House,Kennedy Grave Site, Pan Am Flight 103, and the Challenger.

4:45pmLoad coaches and depart for Carmine’s.

5:45 pmEnjoy dinner at Carmine’s Restaurant.

Menu: Choice of spaghetti, spaghetti & meatballs, and chicken parmigiana – all served family style. All entrees come with garlic bread, mixed green salad, chocolate chip cookie to go, unlimited soda & iced tea.

7:00 amPick up boxed breakfast and board the coaches to travel to Philadelphia.(Approximate drive time is 3 hours without stops, 146 miles.)

10:15 amNo visit to Philadelphia is complete without taking a Constitutional Guided Walking Tour. The tour takes you from Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross house, Christ Church to the National Constitution Center. Historic Philadelphia is best seen by foot. What a great way to explore America's Birthplace.

3:00 pmEnjoy a city tour of Philadelphia visiting the Philadelphia Museum of Arts and the famous Rocky Steps, the Rocky Statue, Rodin’s Thinker and many of famous Philadelphia landmarks.
