What Is RO
We are manufacturers of RO water filters or reverse osmosis water purifiers in India. We have a complete range of domestic and commercial RO water filters to suit the individual requirements of various households and industries. We would like to explain various facts of the reverse osmosis technology for your ready reference.
Osmosis
This is a natural and fundamental process in which a liquid flows through a semi permeable membrane, which blocks the transfusion of salts/solutes through this membrane.
Reverse Osmosis
This process, as its name suggests is almost the opposite or reverse of osmosis process. In this processwhen the two volumes of any solvent or water are separated with a special grade semi permeablemembrane. The normal process of osmosis starts, that of flowing of the liquid with low solute concentrate to high solute concentration. Now this process is stopped or even reversed by applying pressure externally, known as osmotic pressure. In such case the liquid flows from the high concentration solute to low concentrate solute. This phenomenon is called reverse osmosis.
The process was initiated by Professor Reid In 1959 (University Of Florida United States Of America)
Reverse Osmosis: (Process Explanation)
The process of reverse osmosis removes dissolved salts as well as organics. The process can be explained as the rawwater flows through the membrane by applying pressure, in the process a smallpercentage of thefeed waterpermeates the membrane, the balance portion of water moves alongside the membrane without being filtered and moves alongside the membrane without being filtered and moves out of the system. The stream which permeates through the membrane is permeating; the second stream of water is called the concentrate because it carries the concentrated salts and other contaminants which are not able to permeate through or rejected through the membrane. Since the two streams of liquid flow side by side to each other this process is also called cross flow filtration process. This process of water filtration ensures that the output water have 99.9% of pyroxenes, viruses and bacteria rejection.
Water Purifier
60% ofour body is made of water to make realize how important element for the health. This is why it is said that “No Life, Without Water”. It is the sixth most essential nutrient for our body. Doctors also say that, drink eight glasses of water in a day. These days most of every source of water are impure, so it is necessary to consume pure water. Thisis the reason most of people today use bestWater Purifiersystem for home.
In India each cities, towns and people are depends on river, wall, ground water for their need. It is important that water should be clean. RO (Reverse Osmosis) is a one of the best technology that has been use for removal of salt from sea water. Reverse osmosis generally designed for industrial usage is becoming most famous in domestic. Clean and pure drinking water is vital for well-being. So, water filtering system provides safe drinking water. Purification ismost probably of two types, manual or electric. Today electric water filtering is use widely. There are many types and brand portable purifier system to meet your needs.
Domestic RO System
If you want to drink pure water you may purchase domestic water purifier. There are various domestic water filtering system available in market today. You can buy them from stores or there are also many websites sell domestic water purification. It is the liquid filtration system that you can use for home. This system can easily filter huge storage of water and it will offer instant access to filtered water. It is available in wide range of size, styles and types. Another one is water pitcher that is use in your refrigerator. Pitchers are light and can be easy for the home use.
Commercial RO System
The commercial RO system use for the school, office, mall, cinema, hotel, restaurant, hospital and many more. People are increasingly report about the tap water. If it consumes, it cause health problems and also the treatment which can be prove very expensive. This is the reason many businesses are installing commercial water purifier. To buy purifier, keep in mind that what kind of water available in your area that suited to filtering system. With some research, you can get the best commercial RO purifier system.
Industrial RO System
Industrial RO purification normally use for large amount of people. The plant work is simple process, water pass through membrane which filters contaminants from the water. This plant easily filter gallon of water per day. This system is becoming very famous nowadays for industrial use. The best industrial filtering system allows you to meet all your industrial need. These plants are power saving and less time consuming. The industrial filtering plant is big in the size but it easy to install and service.
You need to service your RO system in every two or three months, which includes changes of filter and membrane and cleaning along with clean water storage tank or install water purifier system. What Is DM
The demineralization process utilizes acid regenerated cation resin & caustic regenerated anion resin to remove minerals from water.
Demineralization on a commercial scale became possible after resin manufacturers developed methods of mass producing a new form of ion exchange resin. When regenerated with caustic (NaOH), this resin removed silica and carbon dioxide from the effluent of a zeolite resin operated in the hydrogen cycle. A standard cation resin of the type commonly found in zeolite softeners, which is regenerated with sulfuric acid as opposed to salt (hence: hydrogen cycle cation), is called a strong acid cation resin. An anion resin with a strong affinity for silica and carbon dioxide is described as a strong base anion resin. An offshoot of the strong base anion resin development was the production of a chemically different resin with a strong affinity for strong-acid anions: sulfate (SO4), chloride (CI), nitrate (NO3), phosphate (PO4), etc. This was called a weak base resin. The weak base resin does not remove silica or carbon dioxide, as does the strong base resin. Therefore, it cannot be used alone to produce the water purity demanded by high-pressure steam plant operations. Less caustic is required to regenerate the weak base resin and it is often coupled with a strong base resin in the same vessel to produce the most economical anion unit operation. The weak base resin is always loaded into the vessel last when the unit is readied for down flow service.
Putting the weak base resin on top of the anion resin bed uses its higher capacity for strong acid removal to insure that the strong base resin can concentrate on removing the weak acids associated with the carbon dioxide and silica (carbon and silicic acids).
The cation and anion vessels of a demineralizer train are piped in series so that the effluent of the cation unit enters the top of the anion unit and the discharge from the anion unit goes to the treated water header or into a polishing unit.
RO or UV which is best, Difference between RO UV and UF water purifiers
In the table below we are giving the main differences between RO and UV water filter purifiers. Also in the chart below a comparison between UV and UF water purifiers is given. So you are able to compare RO and UV water purifiers side by side and decide on RO or UV,whichisbest.
By comparing the different types of water purifiers available in India, it is easy to see why the water purifier working with Reverse Osmosis or RO water purifiers is the best. RO water purifiers remove everything from water, not only all bacteria, viruses and germs, but also dissolved chemicals that could be much more dangerous than germs.
Many worry only about germs in water, which can cause loose motion or in worst case, cause dangerous diseases like cholera. But any water borne disease can easily be cured with antibiotics and other medicines.
Much more dangerous than germs in water, is if the water contains dissolved chemicals, especially Heavy Metal chemicals like Arsenic. Arsenic and other poison chemicals in water cause lifelong damage and early death. You will not even know that water contains any poison chemicals because they have no smell or taste. If you consume water with poison chemicals, you are being slowly poisoned and when symptoms of water heavy metal poisoning appear, it is usually too late for effective treatment. It is better to be safe rather than sorry and use the only water purifier that can remove dissolved chemicals in water - The RO water purifier.
Here below is a summary of the comparison between RO water purifier and UV water purifier and UF water purifier. Those who claim that RO removes essential minerals from water are ignorant of the fact that drinking water can give, at the most, some insignificant quantity of essential minerals needed by our body. Some people try to say bad things about RO water purifier.
RO vs. UV vs. UF Comparison Chart
RO Water Purifier / UV Water Purifier / UF Water PurifierRequires Electricity to Work / Requires Electricity to Work / No Need of electricity
Blocks and removes all germs and viruses from Purified Water / Kill all germs including viruses, but their bodies remain in the water / Block and removes all germs
RO requires electricity to boost tap water pressure / UV can work with normal tap water pressure / UF will function with normal tap
Removes dissolved salts / Cannot remove dissolved salts / Cannot remove dissolved salts
Has prefiltration to work with dirty water / Water must be clear for UV to work / Works with muddy dirty
RO water purifier compared to UV water purifier
In RO water purifier the RO membrane physically removes all germs and viruses in the water by filtering out all living organisms. In addition the filtering holes in the RO membrane is so small that it can even remove dissolved salts.
In a UV water purifier the germs and other living organisms are not physically removed but killed by the powerful UV light of the UV water purifier. The UV lamp only kills the germs but the bodies of the dead germs remain in the water. For the UV purifier to work properly, the UV light has to travel through the water to kill the germs. So it is important that the water should very clear so as not to block the UV rays. Also the surface of the UV bulb should not have any dirt or algae deposited on The problem is that if the UV light is kept off for some time, then algae can form on the surface of the UV bulb and lessen its killing power.
RO water purifier compared to UF water purifier
RO and UF are both membranes. The difference between the two is in the size of the filtering holes. In an RO membrane the filtering holes are so small that it can even filter out salt molecules from the water. In the UF membrane the holes are larger and so it cannot filter out salt molecules. But the UF membrane filtering holes are still smaller than the smallest of living organisms, Viruses.
The advantage of the UF water purifier is that it works without electricity and is sure to filter out any disease causing germs, including the smallest of viruses. The UF membrane is also so small that it will filter out all dust and other particles and make the water safe to drink.
The only problem with UF water purifier is that in case any harmfuldissolved salts are in the water, it cannot filter it out. Only an RO water purifier can filter out harmful dissolved salts from the water. That is why the RO water purifiers considered the best type of water purifier.

Chillers and Chiller Systems
The Modern Industrial Chilleris basically a cooling system that removes heat from one element (water/glycol/air) and deposits into another (ambient air or water). The standard design is a system that cools 60° F water (water/glycol, or air) to 50° F and deposits the heat into the ambient air at 95° F (or water at 85° F).
This chilling technology is used by various industries to cool down the process machinery and the process using a Freon chiller to cool a medium like air or water. To learn more about chillers in general and to help you make an informed decision about your own cooling problem, we are going to begin with a definition of a chiller and then move on to learning what a chiller can do for you, how to buy a chiller and what to look for when buying a chiller.
The function of controlling the temperature in manufacturing and process equipment can be achieved in four ways - 1) a cooling tower that supplies water at 85° F or higher and by using chillers that supply water at 60° F or lower. 2) a portable chiller, 3) a packaged chiller, 4) a central chiller system.
