Eligibility: Grades K - 8; Entry Deadline 12/1/13 or when the remaining slots are filled.
**No students 15 years of age or older are eligible to participate**
Entry Fee:$400 per team – Entry will not be accepted until fee has been received. Make checks payable to and mail along with entry forms to the address below.
Format: Teams will be seeded by a random draw. LENGTH OF BOUTS 1 - 1 ½ - 1 ½.
Schedule: Saturday 12/7 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM Weigh-ins – By Team
8:40 AM Coach’s Meeting
9:00 AM Wrestling Begins
Referees:Some of the best NJ High School Referees.
Scoring: Wrestle Backs to 8th place. Best team record decides winner. In the event of a tie, the following criteria apply:
1) Bouts Won 2) Pins 3) Technical Falls 4) Major Decisions
Signed score sheet summary required for each match
Weight Classes / Weigh-ins:(1)
45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 9198 / 105 / 112 / 120 / 128 / 136 / 144 / 152 / 175 / HVY
(1)Each team may weigh-in as many wrestlers in each weight as desired, but not have more than 25 wrestlers for each team. All team members must weigh-in together. (Exceptions must be approved by Tournament Weigh-In-Master). A 0.2 pound allowance will be granted for wrestlers who weigh-in with a singlet or undergarment. Once a wrestler weighs in, they can only wrestle for the team they weigh in with. Wrestlers may move up only one class from weigh-in weight.
Awards:Team awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers.
Other:
Headgear and team singlet required
ONLY 2 Coaches allowed mat side
Each Team must provide a scorekeeper for each dual
Admission: Adults $5.00, Children under 13 $3.00 (Wrestlers, Seniors and Children under 5 free)
Concessions:Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch will be available in the cafeteria Tournament Start to Finish!
