40 years experience in Car Washing, Detailing, Gasoline Marketing and related Car Care Retail Sales.

Built or purchased, owned and operated 16 Car Wash, Detail Centers, Car Care/ Major and Independent Oil Company Convenience Stores.

Currently, Gary is involved in three (3) Southern California Car Washes with Major Oil gasoline representation. Two are full service and one is an exterior ride-thru. Existing operations are in the neighborhood of 400,000 gallons monthly. He recently sold his interest in his Major Oil Company Convenience Store that had pumped in excess of 350,000 gallons a month.

Owned and operated a California distributorship for a worldwide car wash equipment manufacture. Supervised sales, design and installation.

Consulting in the Car Washing, Detailing and Gasoline Marketing industries since 1987. Assisted Unocal in formation of the Pro-Wash program. Responsible for the first T.V. screen in their gasoline dispenser system. Produced and directed the first video to be used for City Council presentations requiring zone variance approvals of car washes.

Currently serving as a Board Member of AUTO-CA, the association for Automotive Professionals.

Served as Vice President and Executive Vice President of the Western Car Wash Association in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996.

Served on the Executive Board of the Original Automatic Car Wash Association of Southern California in 1969 and assisted with the development of W.C.A.

All facilities under GaryWimmer’s ownership and operations have been recognized and received awards from Municipal Governments for their involvement in the community along with civic beauty awards.

Past National Chair of the University Of Southern California Parents Council, past President of B.L.E.N.D., a organization to further business involvement with Law Enforcement, Past President of the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Northeast Los Angeles Community Planning Committee appointed by Los Angeles City Council, and founding member of Role Models For Life, sponsored by the Landmark Education Corporation to assist inner city youth in developing the ability to alter the environment in which they live. Recognized by the California State Assembly, California State Senate and the City of Los Angeles for personal community service.
