The minutes of January 15, 2008 meeting were approved. Jack Henschel abstained.

STATEMENT by Presiding Officer: Adequate notice of this meeting was given

by posting a copy on the Township Bulletin Board and sending a copy to the Township Clerk, Echoes Sentinel and Courier News as required by the Open Public Meetings Act. All Commissioners are duly appointed volunteers working for the Township of Warren. We plan to adjourn by 10 p.m.

Municipal building meeting room at 8:00 PM

There was a Passaic River Paddle Trail Access Survey from the National Park Service and information about the Passaic River Trail. The Commissioners received information about a workshop on tree inventory: communicating tree value on February 20, 2008 in New Brunswick, NJ and courses from the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station. Information on the 2008 Smart Growth Planning Grants for Municipalities was reviewed (application deadline March 31, 2008).

There was a notice of a meeting of the Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC) on February 13, 2008 regarding the Sleepy Hollow of Warren LLC project (PB04-06, Block 86.01, Lots 27.05 – 27.14 & 34.03, Hillscrest Boulevard).

If there are any department articles, they are to be submitted to Martha Reeder by February 22, 2008.

Discussion:

The Commissioners requested that the upcoming meetings take place in the library meeting room, if possible.
