CLUBS:

  • ART CLUB:Friday September 8th is the final day to turn your money for art club. We will have a meeting for those who have turned in their application forms and money for the art club fee. Our first meeting will be on the Thursday after the Fair that will be Thursday September 21st. So turn in your fee today September 8th.
  • VEX Robotics will have their first Meeting on Tuesday September 19th from 3 to 4 in Mrs. Britton's room RA 342. Only members who have turned in their applications and paid fee should stay for the meeting.
  • All VEX Robotics Fees must be paid by Friday September 8,2017 to Mrs. Britton's room in the Related Arts Building Rm342.
  • Beta Information Sheet and membership fee needs to be turned in to Mrs. Gibbs by Friday, September 8.
  • Science Club-Forms to join Science Club are at the front desk. The first 30 students who bring in a form and money to Mrs. Lokey (Room 202) will be accepted.
  • INTERACT membership forms and money are due to Mrs. Hitchcock by Thursday, Sept. 7. All paperwork must be turned in by this date to be able to work at the Fair Booth
  • The History Club of WCMS begins its 3rd year as a club this school year. If you have an interest, please obtain an application from your history teacher or see Steve Hillis. Forms and money are due by Thursday, September 19th.
  • One of the best trips you will ever make is to our nation's capital, Washington, D.C.WCMS will be going to DC June 6-10, 2018. We will visit all the sights and then some.See Steve Hillis for more details. The Washington, D.C. trip is open to all 6th,7th, and 8th graders at WCMS.If you need information, please see Steve Hillis for details. We have had an excellent adventure each time and expect nothing
  • STUDENT COUNCIL is collecting phone books again. Please start bringing in those phone books, they may be turned in to Megan Harmon.The class that bringsin the most will earn an ice cream sandwich party. Home base teachers, please keep track of how many you haveturned in.
  • STUDENT COUNCIL: Teachers will be receiving a form to place their selections for Student Council. This form needs to be returned to Mrs. Scott’s mailbox by Friday, Sept. 8th. Students that were members last year, may return without a teacher recommendation.
  • Pep Club Cardscan be purchased through your homebase class for $2. These cards can be used at all WCMS home Ball games. If the gate is $5.00, you pay $2.00. If the gate is $3.00, you would pay $1.00

STUDENTS:

  • FREE Guitar, Bass, Drum & Piano lessons will be starting September 19th from 3-4:30 every Tuesday & Thursday. There will be limited spots open. A flyer will be given to each home base teacher & also available at the Sign In desk. Any questions please see Mr. Joe Collier.
  • SELL YOUR FUNDRAISING ITEMS TO RAISE $50,000 FOR WCMS!!!!! If our goal is met, we will have a BMX bike show on the track!!The top 10 sellers get a limo ride around town with lunch at Pizza Hut!! September 11th is the last day to sell items. All orders need to be turned in to home base teachers by Thursday, September 14th.
  • Anyone that is volunteering after school Thursday to help set up for the Going Gold event, go to Mrs. Riggs room at the 2nd bell.
  • Anyone that ordered a Going Gold shirt and has not paid, please bring your money to Mrs. Riggs. If you have seen the shirts and would like one, you are in luck as we are placing one more order for shirts.Giver your money and size order to the Going Gold table at lunch.
  • HOMELAND BANK WILL BE OPEN EVERY TUESDAY DURING LUNCH. OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT OR DEPOSIT IN AN EXISTING!!!! THE HOME BASE THAT SAVES THE MOST MONEY IN TOTAL DOLLARS AS A CLASS ROOM , GETS A TRIP TO LAKE WINNIE!!!!
