Spring Netball

WHEN

The season runs on Wednesday evenings for 7 weeks, commencing Wednesday 15 October 2014and finishing on Wednesday 26 November 2014.

Game times are:4.30pm - NSG/NSG Set

5:30pm- 10 and 11 Under

6.30pm - 12 and 13 & Under

7:30pm- 16and Under, Mixed & Open

Please note that depending on the number of registrations we receive some teams may be required to play in a different timeslot. Due to limited courts with lighting the number of teams will be restricted. WDNA will be offering an Open Mixed division if numbers allow. There must be a minimum of three (3) males and only one (1) male allowed per third.

COST

If you are an existing player and have played at WDNA during winter 2014 you will only need to pay the WDNA existing Player amount. If you did not play during winter 2014 you will need to pay full registration. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE THE FIRST GAME OR THE TEAM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The fees are outlined below;

Open age groups: $ 41.80 per team Game Only

NSG SET – Junior:$ 20.90 per team Game Only.

If Junior teams have more than 50% of members in City of Wanneroo = $0.00.

REGISTRATION

Clubs registering teams with less than 7 players will be invoiced for a minimum of 7 players. Fees can be paid via eft or with all cash or one cheque made payable to Wanneroo Districts Netball Association. (In full please) Once you have received your invoice the full fees must be paid within 7 days.

For our smaller clubs who are not using Mynetball for registrations the process will be the same as for winter. The Mynetball Team nomination Form can be downloaded from the website underForms & Downloads - Registrations/Spring. I will contact Winter 2014 clubs to come in and go through mynetball with me as all clubs with more than 1 team will need to be using this system for winter 2015.

Please fill one form out for each team and all sections must be filled in including the nominated division for your team/s in 2014. If you have new players who did not play with your club during winter 2014 please advise of name, DOB, address and mobile number to me via email.

I will then record into mynetball and will invoice from this.

For clubs that are using Mynetball the process is the same as for winter 2014. Please note that for spring you must register (Spring 2014) your players as S -Jun, S-Snr etc. for existing players who played in winter 2014 and S New - Jun or S New - Snr etc. for new players who didn’t play in winter 2014 at WDNA. Players that were registered for winter will come up as a secondary registration. Once you have registered your players then please add them to your nominated team lists and advise via email to that it is complete and I will then invoice from your registration manager record.

New Player Registrations once the season has commenced must be received by 10.00am on Wednesday game days.

Registrations close Friday 19September 2014. It will be a first in first served basis due to limited court lighting.

AFFILIATION/CLUB CONTACT FORM:

The Affiliation Form is available to download from the website under Forms & Downloads - Registrations/Springand can be submitted via email of FAX as early as possible PRIOR to your Registration. This will allow us to have a contact for communications before registration and competition commence.

GRADING

A paper grade only is conducted.

AGE ELIGIBILITY

Refer to “What age group can I play in” Chart which is available to view on the website & Downloads.

PROOF OF AGE

At registration, clubs must present proof of age for players aged between seven (7) and thirteen (13) as at 31 December 2014. This is only for players who have not been registeredwith WDNA previously. Age can be verified in the form of a photocopy of their Birth Certificate, a Birth Extract or Passport.

UMPIRES

WDNA will be conducting an umpiring academy consisting of Green Shirt and a small number of squad umpires. This will run for the 5.30, 6.30 and 7.30 timeslots. We will be able to advise what divisions will be covered by October 8th at the latest.

CODES OF BEHAVIOUR

Players who played in the WDNA Winter 2014Competition are NOT required to complete Code of Behaviour forms.New Players to the Association for spring 2014 are required to complete the forms. All Codes of Behaviour Forms must be submitted prior to the first game and are available from the website under Forms & Downloads.

INTERCHANGE OF PLAYERS

You are not considered a Club unless you have the one Club contact for all teams. This also means that single registered teams cannot interchange players with other single registered teams or clubs, regardless of the Club you played for in winter 2014.

CANTEEN – TOP COURTS

The top court canteen will be open from 4.00pm – 8.30pm.

UNIFORM REGISTRATION FORM

Only required for teams/clubs that did not play in the winter 2014 season, or playing in new colours. The form is available to download from the website under Forms & Downloads - Registrations/Spring.

PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT

Please indicate via email to if you do notgive photography consent by no later than the first playing date. If no email received we will assume it is a yes for your team.

NET SET GO

Registrations will be held on Wednesday 17 September and Friday 19 September between the hours of 8am and 5pm at WDNA clubrooms. Numbers will be limited.

PERMITS – TO PLAY UP AND DOWN

All permits must be received by 3 October 2014 to allow sufficient time for assessments to take place if required. Permits are available to download from the website Forms & Downloads. Permits granted for winter 2014 will be automatically granted for spring 2014.

PLAYER WITHDRAWALS

Any application for refunds must be received by the Association Manager prior to the first playing date of the Spring Competitions as per ruling 45.1.
