Course of Fire:PISTOL:Unlimited sighters, 40 shots for record “Progressive Position Air Pistol (Once record firing begins shooter may NOT go back for sighters).
Match 1:40 shots
Match 2:Three man teams
Time Limit:Ten (10) minute preparation period, fifty-five (55) minutes for record. Targets will be posted in 20 shot stages. (Target B-40/4)

Miscellaneous:Any student currently enrolled in middle or high school (or equivalent educational program such as home schooling) is eligible. For NRA ONLY, must meet NRA Junior Guidelines. No sanctioning fees required. Limit 30 shooters, matches will be fired on A-5/10 or B-40/4 targets; Shooters will hang their own targets. No shooter's equipment may be beyond the firing line. Coaching is permitted for Sporter during sighting shots only, no coaching is allowed for precision. Pistol coaching, per USAS PPP guidelines. Food is available. EAR & EYE PROTECTION AND OBI ARE MANDITORY
Rules:Current USAS & NRA National Standard Three-Position Sporter & Precision Air Rifle Rules.
The strictest rules will apply. NRA age in the NRA rulebook will apply for juniors that have graduated from high school. PPP Rules for Air Pistol will be used.
Lodging:Contact match sponsor.
Entry Fee:$25.00 for Match 1 or 3 which will include teams in Match 2 & 4, if entered.
Awards:Winner (1-5 competitors), Second (6-10), Third (11-15), Category awards based upon the following: 1-5 first, 6-10 second, 11-15 third, etc. Medals only.
Challenges:A $2.00 challenge fee will be charged. All challenges will expire 30 minutes after time posted on score sheet. Targets will be displayed but cannot be plugged or gauged by anyone except range personnel. Plugging or gauging by other than range personnel will result in disqualification of the individual shooter performing the plugging or gauging.

Note:This is the Michigan qualifying match to qualify competitors to attend the USAS & NRA National Junior Olympic 3-position Air Rifle/Pistol Championships. The top ranking team in Sporter and Precision from each state will be invited to the national competition. In addition, USAS invitations will go to the top 25 Sporter and top 25 Precision individual shooters that are not members of teams that qualify for the national championship. The top 4 Sporter and top 4 Precision shooters will each comprise the team(s) from Michigan.
Up to four (4) teams per state can be invited including Scholastic and Club
Teams with a 2060 score for Sporter and 2280 for Precision will receive an automatic invite even if they are not the team winners. Team selection passes down until a team accepts in each category for our state.
3PAR individuals will receive an automatic invite if their scores are 525 Sporter or 580 Precision.
ALL PPP shooters will receive and invitation to compete in the National PPP Championship.
