Currently I am working in Saudi Kayan (SABIC) as a Inside Operator.I am involve a lot of documentation activity for the plant pre comm., commissioning and start up. I’m also involve in training program to train the Saudi fresh operator.

Previously I am working with Optimal Chemical (M) Sdn. Bhd in Kerteh since August 2000 to November 2008. I am responsible as an DCS and Field Operator for the Derivatives Plant which is consist of three different unit specifically known as Butyl Acetate , Butyl Glycol Ether , Ethanolamines and Primary Alcohol Etoxylate batch prcess unit.

I had tremendous 10 years working experience in petrochemical industries and actively participate during the pre-commissioning ,commissioning and annual plant turnaround activities. . We had a successful start-up in mid 2002.

I had been certified as a skilled technician from Petroleum Industrial Training Institute (PETRONAS) in Process Operation.

Scope Of Work

Duty and responsibility
•Perform and operate The Butyl Acetate, Butyl Glycol Ethers, Ethoxylates Units Tanks Farm operation and Loading Unloading Facilities in efficiently according to the developed plant S.O.P(Standard Operating Procedures) .
•Responsible as DCS and field operator for operating various types of equipment such as Tubular Reactor System, Multi stages Reactor Feed Pump, Refining Column and Azeotrophic Column.
•Involve in plant Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start Up for Derivatives Department (Butyl Glycols Unit, Butyl Acetate Unit, Tank Farm and Truck Loading Unloading Facilities.
•Involve in 1st turnaround, Responsible for preparing the plant equipment for DOSH inspection.
•Familiarized the unit operation with the FOXBORO DCS in a safe manner.
•Responsible to trained the new operation staff in the field and DCS .
•Responsible for commissioning a new installation in the area custodian.(Standby Reactor Feed Pump)
•Responsible for carrying out physical check on running equipment including instrumentation & report any abnormalities/malfunction.
•Responsible for monitoring & inspecting all safety equipment including firefighting equipment and report any defect to the safety department.
•Working closely with maintenance & other departments in executing maintenance work in the process area.
•Responsible for troubleshooting & verified a problem that arise.
•Prepare equipment including logout and tag out for maintenance and other departments in performing any maintenance work in the process area. Familiarize with the Safe work permit (SWP) issuer for the CSE , Hot work, Pressure Washing and etc.
•Responsible for First line maintenance (FLM) for the Relamping , lube oil top up and motor greasing.
•Take actions and make process adjustments, within the limits of the SOP to achieve targets.
•Routinely practices trained techniques to eliminate hazards from the plant.
•Follows up outstanding maintenance requests and equipment problems.
•Works independently to produce quality results.
•Prepare a detail note in the e-logbook, not only limited to actions taken but also the reasons why and possible outcome.
•Monitors plant performance in accordance with the environmental program.
