Elected President of Prescott Frontier Day's, ‘Worlds Oldest Rodeo’, 1997, 1998 & 1999. Perform coordination and planning activities to support the production of the ‘World’s Oldest Rodeo’. Plan, organize and conduct studies to define problems and opportunities, identify deficiencies and recommend and implement solutions which impact Prescott Frontier Days effectiveness and provide input for planning a $500,000 budget, with an economic impact on the Prescott area in excess of $20 million dollars over a five day period. Coordinate eight directors and their 40 chairmen and 500 additional volunteers to ensure reliable, available and consistent access to information resources. Exercise supervision of part-time office manager. Constantly seek and obtain sponsors and partnerships in the production of the ‘World’s Oldest Rodeo’ and supporting events.

Arena Director for the ‘Worlds Oldest Rodeo’ in 2000 and 2001. Coordinate the activities of four Chairmen their assistants and volunteers with the Stock Contractors, Rodeo Announcer, Sound Engineer and Scoreboard and Timers to ensure the smooth transition from competitor to competitor within events and from event to event. Our Arena achieved 2nd runner-up in the Justin ‘Best Footing Award’ and 1st runner-up in ‘Most Improved Award’. Both are highly coveted awards and the highest rating ever for the “Worlds Oldest Rodeo”

Featured Siminar Speaker at the 1999 and 2000 ‘Coors Showdown’ Rodeo at America West Arena in Phoenix and MGM Grand at Las Vegas. Topics ‘But we’ve never done it that way before’ and ‘We are not going to do it that way anymore’.

Elected ‘Justin Standard of the West, Committeeman of the Year’ by the Prescott Frontier Days, ‘World’s Oldest Rodeo’ membership for 1998. A National Award at the local level.

Board of Directors for United Families of Arizona. We help in the community with projects like ‘Feed the Hungry’, gather blankets hats scarves, etc. to provide for the under privileged, produce the ‘Gheral Brownlow Memorial 10K’ and the ‘Prescott Turkey Trot’ to gather food for the Yavapai Food Bank. Appointed ChairmanWilliamsonValley Corridor Plan Committee. January 2005 – December 2005. This committee studied and gathered information in an effort to produce a plan for growth in the Williamson Valley Corridor and have it amended to the Yavapai County General Plan.

Selected to Project CENTRL class 16. This is a two-year rual Arizona Leadership Program based out of the University of Arizona. Two individuals from each ArizonaCounty (for a total of 30) are chosen for this program.
