PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Account Opening (AO) is a process that has been selected to be re-engineered under One HSBC principles. The goal for this project is to take a fresh look at the different account opening processes that are currently being used around the Group, in order to define a single, common, best-in-class account opening proposition, which will become the HSBC Group standard. Within the proposed One HSBC AO process will exist the One HSBC Application Processing Engine (OH APe) which will provide a fully generic and adaptable account opening framework for use across group and shall be integrated into the One HSBC product suite.

OH APe will enable products and services to be advised and fulfilled through an externalised business defined process flow which it continually assesses and governs via a collaborative effort between OH APe and its Service Requester,such as a Front End browser.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

TNT wants to implement a new concept called consulting on demand we will receive work packets from Northern Trust. The work packet may come from different trade application systems. The work involved can be in any phase of SDLC. Once cognizant receives the work packet, it will perform an effort estimation based on the complexity of work. Estimation will be sent to client by onsite coordinator. The work will be executed based on the approval. The closure of the work packet is received through sign off mail from the client. Once the work is executed, the Cognizant team will take up new tasks. The entire work packet has to be completed with in the estimated time and would be of high Quality.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project caters to Production Support of Infolink applications for JPMC IS in US. This is a fixed price Project. In the current environment, SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) MT565 messages (corporate action client instructions) that are based on the ISO (International Standard Organization) 15022 message standards are routed to the Corporate Actions department printers via INFOLINK and US MERVA. (MERVA stands for Message Entry and Routing with interfaces to Various Applications.) Corporate Reorganization/USSO (US Security Operations) staff members visually identify the relevant pieces of information from each MT565 message and are required to input a complete instruction on MCA via the Response Control System.

INFOLINK currently processes MT565 messages by: 1) routing all the domestic instructions to the printer, and 2) routing the global instructions to UK/Neonet.

The project to automate domestic MT565 will bring forth the following changes in INFOLINK: 1) a new outbound interface, MCA, will be created to send all the reformatted domestic MT565 to MCA for processing, 2) all inbound domestic SWIFT MT565 instructions will be sent to US/Neonet for reformatting, 3) a new functionality in the inbound monitor screen to display ONLY domestic MT565 messages which came in via the SWFT interface will be provided, and 4) ability to print the detail of the inbound domestic MT565.

All the global MT565 instructions will still be processed BAU by routing to the existing INFOLINK outbound interface, UK/NEONET

  • Tested all the programs with all possible test cases and together worked with MCA project for testing the messages.
  • Prepared complete Unit test document. This includes all screen prints of the CICS programs

WINS is an on-line investment accounting and fund accounting system and Reporting system that handles virtually all types of investment portfolios, transactions and securities. The primary purpose of the WINS system is to calculate the Net asset value of portfolio assets. The GAD team will work on 1. Any enhancement to WINS system will be taken up (stages involves: Design, Construction, System testing, UAT, Implementation and post-implementation.) This includes Customization of systems to the respective clients based on their business requirements. 2. Core Development (When ever Sunguard changes, JPMC–IS needs to implement these changes to their customer systems). 3. Maintenance of the existing systems. 4. CLIENT DESCRIPTION:

WINS is an Investment Fund Accounting system consisting of the Sungard Invest One application supplemented by over 1500 JPMorgan Chase-developed modules. WINS is a central application for Investor Services that performs processing and valuations for a variety of mutual funds, insurance funds, pension funds/401k and unit trusts, providing daily and monthly valuations (NAVs). WINS sends, receives and formats data to/from numerous internal and external systems, including Infolink, Warehouse, GMRD, Titan 3/4, Titan2, COSMIC, PSA/MNPF, Wilshire, Infostation, AIRS and COACS. Pricing information is supplied from vendors IDC, JJ Kenny, FDIT (Extel) and Bloomberg. Extracts are created in various media including CDs, tapes and transmissions such as NDM, FTP and IMLITE. Customer interfaces are supported, directly and through Warehouse and Views – the WINS to Warehouse interface is a key deliverable both from the nightly cycle and intra-day as accounts are closed

The Bank master Information project consists of various sub modules such as Bank Master, Holiday List master, User Authentication, Working Hour Scheduling etc. These sub modules are assisted with help modules like Branch Information Help, Bank Master Help, Holiday List Help, and Working Hour Specification Help. These forms together form the Cash Module. The module is being coded in RM-COBOL. The work commenced with the designing of Graphical User Interface forms. These forms are made operative similar to Windows® based forms. Once the forms are designed, they are coded to make the functional as per the requirements of the client. The data being handled in managed using files in the backend. After the coding the forms are tested for bugs. The sub modules are the amalgamated and tested for integrity.
