Rules:

No mucking out on the field

Please take all litter home with you these fields are grazed

Anyone mounted must be wearing an appropriately fitted riding hat, it must bear the CE mark and a quality symbol, either the BSI kite mark, the SAI Global symbol or the official Snell number and label.

Anyone competing must be suitably dressed; arms must be covered even in hot weatherand back protectors are recommended.

Stewards and Judges are to be treated with respect and their decision is final.

There is to be NO cantering on the field except in the designated areas.

Age of rider as at 1st January 2017

A competitor who competes on the lead rein may not enter another class off the lead rein.

Pony club members must show membership card to gain discount.

No claim can be entertained for anything which might happen to competitors, spectators, their property, servants or horses in connection to this horse show.

Dressage and combined training must be pre-entered by Fri 19thAugust 2017

RING 1 SHOW JUMPING 10 AM START

Important note, all riders must have reached their 4th birthday before the day of the show to enter jumping classes

Class 1: Cross Pole on or off Lead rein 12 years and under only

Class 2: Mini jumping 1’6” on/off lead rein12 years and under only

Class 2a: Combined Training 1’6” withThe Pony Club D Level dressage test Walk and Trot 2012

Class 3: Absolute Novice 1’9” these classes are aimed at really novice combination of pony/horse/rider. We hope you will enter in the true spirit of the classes

Class 10:The Pony Club C Level dressage test 2012

Class 11: The Pony Club Novice Dressage test 2009

Only 1 test needs to be ridden for 9&9b, 10&10b and 11&11b.

RING 3 HANDY PONY 10am to 12 noon

This will be running as a drop-in class. Class 12 Lead rein

Class 13 10 years and under

Class 14 Open

This class is timed and will involve completing a course of various obstacles the fastest time completed successfully wins. Winners to be announced after class 5.

RING 3 MOUNTED GAMES to start at 12.30pm

Lead Rein 12.30pm -1.30pm

10 years and under 1.30pm-2.30pm(Off lead rein)

Open games 2.30pm

There will be 6 games in each section.

Rules and instructions will be called at the start of each game.

£2 per game or £10 for all 6.

RING 4 CLEAR ROUND JUMPING

9.30 start Clear round jumping – to rise in line with ring 1
