Waiver and Release of Liability for 27th Annual Pug Party

Please complete and sign this waiver and release of liability in order to bring your pet(s) into the Pug Party. The 22nd Agricultural District (Del Mar Fairgrounds) requires certification of vaccinations, and Pug Rescue cannot allow dogs inside the party without this completed and signed waiver and release, which will serve and certify as proof of current immunizations.

I wish to bring my pet(s) into the 27th Annual Pug Party. As an essential condition of admission I stipulate the following: My pet(s) are up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, are not of an aggressive nature, are not in heat and, to the best of my knowledge, are free from any contagious diseases or conditions that would make them a danger to any participant, spectator, any other individual, or any animal. Without exception, I accept full financial responsibility for any damage(s) to persons, pets or properties as a result of my pets’ actions at this event.

I also understand that Pug Rescue of San Diego County, the Del Mar Fairgrounds (22nd District Agricultural Association), the City of San Diego, and the State of California, it’s employees, owners, members, managers, officers, volunteers and representatives and any other individuals or professional entities involved with the production of this event, cannot be held liable or responsible for any damages caused by the attendance or actions of my pet(s), and reserves the right to refuse admittance to any unruly, aggressive, unsuitable or blatantly ill pets. In addition, I also know that my pet(s) may be required to leave the event if they display behaviors that are deemed to be disruptive or dangerous. In such event, I understand and accept that there will be no refund of admission or other fees paid.

In short, I affirm that I am the ONLY person responsible for my pet(s), and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless any other person, company or organization from any liability resulting from my pet(s)’ attendance at this event.

I understand that this waiver and release agreement is a contract, and state that I have read all of its terms, fully understand them, am a legal adult (age 18 or older), and am legally competent to execute this waiver and release form.

The information provided herein may be provided to the Del Mar Fairgrounds should they require it; however, under no circumstances, except as required by law, will my information be made available by any means by Pug Rescue of San Diego County to other parties.
