Watertown (USA), 30 March2017 –This year’s “Global Distribution Award”of the Würth Elektronik eiSos Groupwent to Digi-Key Electronics. Representatives of theAmerican subsidiary of the Group,Wurth Electronics Midcom Inc., presentedthe award during a visit to the Digi-Key headquarters in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Along with acknowledging the company’s commercial success, theaward was presentedin appreciation of thespeed at whichthe globally active distributor brings new products and technologies of Würth Elektronik eiSosinto the market.
Digi-Key has been selling the electronic and electromechanical components,bearing the red WE logo, for almost ten years now. The most recent win marksthe second time Digi-Key has received the prestigious award. The distributor accepted the “Global Distribution Award” in the form of “Henry,”a green crocodile made entirely using Würth Elektronik plug-in connectors.
