1Length: CREATIVE – grade 7: 180 - 200 (long), 80 - 100 (short); grade 8: 200 - 250 (long), 100 - 120 (short); grade 9: 250 - 300 (long), 120 - 150 (short).

TRANSACTIONAL – grade 7: 120 - 150 (long), 60 - 80 (short); grade 8: 150 - 200 (long), 80 - 100 (short); grade 9: 200 - 250 (long), 80 - 100 (short).

2Speaking: For speaking activities see p. 100 - 102 NCS, p. 32 LAG. At least one prepared speech has to be formally assessed.

3Literature:Two genresprescribed for FIRST ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE(novel, drama, poetry, short stories, folklore, film study, etc.) per year. Poetry is compulsory.

4Investigation Task: See, amongst others, LO 5 AS 2 and 3; LAG p. 67 - 73.

5Suggested marks (weighting) can be changed, but MUST be converted to 100.

6Evidence of all the activities that culminated in the final tasks/ tests should be available for moderation.
