As adjunct project manager inkjet inks you are responsible for:
- Independently leading ink development projects of limited size for inkjet printing systems for Printed Circuit Boards applications. This holds all aspects from the conceptual phase until product release in compliance with the product development process.
- Reporting on the status and progress of your projects to theproject team and in technical meetings.
- Providing functional guidance to supporting competence centres (pigment dispersions, ingredients and analytics).
- Understanding the customer needs and proposing / testing the best available existing ink formulation. Follow-up of the evaluations of existing inks and adjusting if necessary. Via an iterative process the required product should be reached.
- You are responsible for the setup and execution of experiments to create and characterise new ink formulations and evaluate them in inkjet printers. You have knowledge of experimental design software.
- You analyse and interpret experimental results and use the conclusions to setup new experiments.
- You build up knowledge on the relation between structures and properties (structureof ink compounds vs. macroscopic properties of inks and printed images). You propose new building blocks and ink formulations based on these findings.
- You guide the scaling-up and introduction in production of new inks and make a proposal for production specifications and quality specifications for raw materials and semi-finished products (solutions and pigment dispersions).
Desired profile
- You hold a master degree in a technical-scientific field (chemistry, materials science, … ).
- You are passionate, result-driven and customer-oriented.
- You are capable of running projects to develop new products independently. You collaborate positively with the members of multi-disciplinary teams, co-workers, business partners and customers.
