SYRIAN REFUGEES

Volunteers are urgently needed during the day to help Syrian refugees settle into Salisbury.

You will be supported by a small team of Arabic speakers at Wiltshire Council and a volunteer co-ordinator. This is very rewarding work but can be intense in the first couple of months. If you feel able to devote some time please email your contact details to John Proctor, at As well as your contact details please include the name of your church minister for reference purposes. All volunteers will have to undertake a DBS check through Wiltshire Council.

COLLECTION FOR AMELIA

There are a lot of fundraising events going on, in Harnham and surrounding area for a young 8 year old from Harnham Junior School. Her family are trying to raise £152,000 to help fund cancer treatment for their daughter who has recently relapsed with neuroendocrine carcinoma in her bones. There will be a retiring collection today supporting this fundraiser.

Also this Christmas the Scouts are having a Christmas Raffle to raise money to repair their drains. They have some fantastic prizes, if any one would like a ticket or a book of tickets please see Linda Baker.

All Souls - 6th November 2016

WELCOME! If you are visiting, or a newcomer to the parish, please make yourself known to a sides-person or one of the clergy after the service as we would like to welcome you personally.

You are invited to receive communion with us. If you would prefer a prayer or blessing, please bring a book with you to the altar so that we shall know. If you would like to receive communion in your pew please let a churchwarden know before the service begins.

Should you wish to support the church financially there are gift aid envelopes in the church, or alternatively you may prefer to give to the collection during the offertory hymn. The money goes towards the work of the Parish. 5% of this collection will support other Christian charities.

COLLECT:

Eternal God, our maker and redeemer,

Grant us, with all the faithful departed,

The sure benefits of your Son’s saving passion and glorious resurrection,

That, in the last day,

When you gather all things in Christ, we may with them enjoy the fullness of your promises; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
