MINUTE TAKER
A minute taking is required at our monthly meetings as well as partnership meetings. The organisation is looking for someone with minute taking skills to help record meetings and undertake some administrative tasks. This would offer the person an insight of how management committees are responsible for all aspects of the projects on strategic and operational levels.

TRIAGE VOLUNTEER
An organisation is looking for a Triage Volunteer to provide a telephone triage service for potential clients. The role involves responding to enquiries from interested clients, recording contact details and asking a set list of exclusion questions. You would also be asked on occasion to call existing and previously triaged clients to make appointments.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING INFORMATION VOLUNTEER
The volunteer will promote specific health and wellbeing messages while also raising awareness about the benefits of volunteering by engaging with the public in the Falkirk area. On a regular basis the volunteer will work within a small team to promote a different health and wellbeing messages which will relate to current health and information campaigns and awareness weeks/days.
Volunteers will be given full training around the specific topics in order for them to feel comfortable and confident in engaging with the public. Volunteers will attend outreach events providing information, distributing leaflets and signposting the public to the appropriate service or organisation. Volunteers will also be expected to promote the benefits of becoming a volunteer and encouraging people to volunteering.

LIFE GUIDE
The Lifeguide role is an opportunity for a young adult (18 - 25yrs) to make a significant difference to children and young people (8-18yrs) who are struggling with their emotional response to family breakdown. The support includes 6 one-to-one meetings in a public place like a school or a cafe. Lifeguides are trained to deliver simple but effective coping tools to the young person so they can learn how to express their feelings in more constructive ways.

PLAY WORKER/YOUTH WORKER
This organisation run groups for children and young people from toddlers to teenagers. Groups meet weekly (school term time) and go on daytrips and overnight hostelling and camping trips at weekends and school holidays. Groups do a wide range of activities including games, crafts, cooking and drama. The organisation has an emphasis on outdoor activity including exploring nature, and bushcraft. Volunteer roles include planning and delivering taster session and group night activities with children and young people, and/or doing administrative roles and publicity. This is a great opportunity to develop skills in working with children and young people and get experience of delivering a wide range of activities that are fun, and promote positive values.

HEAD COACH & CO-ORDINATOR CEREBRAL PALSY FOOTBALL
This Club has a very exciting opportunity to become the Head Coach & Co-ordinator of the well-established Cerebral Palsy Football squad. The players are aged between 5-16 and the opportunity exists to further develop their footballing skills as well as continue to lobby for the set-up of local and national football leagues for children with disabilities. Volunteer roles will include helping a group of around 20 boys and girls who are dedicated to their football. The Club currently offers fortnightly training sessions on a Sunday from 12-3pm and gives kids with Cerebral Palsy the chance to play football As well as coaching this role also includes the opportunity to continue the Club's support of a local or national league format being set up to allow these kids to participate against other teams.

GARDENER
Free fresh air and exercise in exchange for help with general gardening. Can you help with hedge and grass cutting, general garden tidying and weeding? Garden assistant required to help housing association for disabled ex-servicemen. We need occasional help with hedge and grass cutting, general garden tidying and ground clearing. The gardens are flat and generally easily maintained. The borders are hedges and there is a mix of lawns, vegetable plots and shrub borders. Hours and days to suit the volunteers

HEAD COACH OF GIRLS UNDER 9S TEAM
This opportunity is to develop the grassroots programme for girls football and to volunteer with the current P2/3 squad of girls. The team are already established and numbers are strong. This is your chance to make a real difference as a coach and help develop these young footballers right from the start of their playing days. Leading the U9s Girls Team and taking coaching twice a week and either Saturday/Sunday morning for matches. The opportunity is to develop a group of 12 P2/3 girls through the player pathway from 4-a-sides to 7-a-sides and support the building of a successful girls programme at the younger age groups and grow the presence, as a club, within the girls game.

GENERAL HANDYMAN/WOMAN
Can you change a lightbulb; fix a shelf or change a tap washer? Our housing association provides reasonably priced rental homes for disabled ex-servicemen and women. We need volunteers to help tenants who need a bit of help with small household jobs. Satisfaction guaranteed! A Handy person is required to help a housing association for disabled ex-servicemen. They need occasional help with small household tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing small jobs around the home, drawers sticking or fixing a shelf. Hours and days to suit volunteer.

MARKETING AND MEDIA EXECUTIVE
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Central Region's biggest youth football clubs. Already an SFA Community Status Club this progressive and ambitious organisation wish to maximise the marketing opportunities of all the truly outstanding work they do in the community that currently goes largely unnoticed. Through various media channels including local/national press, linked associations and social media you will have autonomy to build the Club's brand and socialise it's successes on and off the pitch.
The opportunity includes the chance to:
- Grow the follower numbers and post reach of the club's social media channels
- Collate and communicate all upcoming events/fixtures/results & activities for the club via social media and local press
- Update website newsfeed with club news
- Ensure national coverage of the club through other organisations are communicated through our own social media channels i.e. Youth Football Scotland
- Help explore and take opportunities to engage with other local organisations by actively marketing the club
- Profile existing club members, players, coaches, teams to fully engage the membership through coverage
- Grow the club brand, with success being measured through increased membership numbers & advocacy of existing members
