On front panel, ( picture n°1 ), you can see the sensor connector and the status led of
Green led on Ready to take some Radio
Green led off Unavailable
On picture n°2 , you can see the USB connector and power supply connector
The device operates under different Windows versions
Drivers are located in the following directories :
[CD ROM reader]\drivers\WIN_98_ME\OWandy USB for Windows 98 SE et Me
[CD ROM reader]\drivers\WIN_2000_XP\OWandy USB \ for Windows 2000 et XP
Once drivers are installed, you find the USB device in the peripheral manager.
The name to select, DSX 730 USB 3 or DSX 730 USB 3 Evolution, depends on the box model.
Click on this picture to install the OSP software
Click on “following” or install in next windows selecting all default options
At “Usbconf” windows
Choose your DSX 730 model in the rolling menu in correspondence with type of device recognized in the peripheral manager
Install the calibration files
Once the OSP tools are installed, you will find, on the desktop, a directory containing a sub-directory called 'USB XRAYS BOX TEST '. You can find 4 device configuration files

- USBVIEW : software who gives information about the USB device connected to the computer
Hereafter are some details of USBVIEW :
A DSX 730 USB 3 evolution2 std device is connected but not installed yet .
The advanced characteristics of the USB device are in the grey part at the bottom.
The characteristics which interests us are within the framework.
0xE495 of the «IdVendor 0xE495» line means that the manufacturer of the device is OWANDY. All manufacturers have their own idVendor
If the value is different, the device is not an OWANDY’s product
«idProduct» mean the kind of the USB box:

Imaging software settings
Run the software double –clicking icon (or )
Click on and select DSX 730 :
After clicking on , you will see the following window:
When saving, the following icons appear
This icon means that the sensor is not connected. So X-Ray shots cannot be performed
This icon indicates that the sensor is switched on.
The light on the front panel of the box should come on after a few seconds. Then, you can start taking x-ray shots
Between shots, a YELLOW cross appears on the sensor icon.
As long as this yellow cross is present, no radiological picture can be taken.
When the sensor is not permanently activated, the predefined timing settings take over.
As long as the progress bar has not completely turned red, X-ray shots can be taken .
After X minutes ( period preset in the settings), the sensor power supply goes out, so that it will not be possible to take shots
