Required document: form E 112 (valid for one month) stipulating the admission date.

On admission to the hospital, an amount is requested to cover the expenses for hospitalisation, surgery, anaesthesia and laboratory tests:

The proposed dates for consultation, hospitalisation and/or surgery have to be confirmed by returning mail or fax. Please provide us with the missing information as soon as possible.

As long as we don’t receive this information from you, we will not be able to make the necessary hospital and surgery arrangements. Thank you for your understanding.

Child + one parent

One accompanying parent is allowed to stay over together with the child (< 16 years old) at the rate of a ward room.

Patient + accompanying person

An accompanying person is allowed to stay over in the hospital at the rate of a private room.

This option can only be offered pending the availability of private rooms.

Arrival at the AZ Sint-AugustinusHospital

The main entrance of the hospital is located at the Oosterveldlaan 24 in Wilrijk. You can enter the hospital on whatever time is most convenient for you, depending on your travel schedule.

However, if possible at all, we would advice you to enter before 6 p.m. because of administrative reasons. Please address to the reception desk in the main hall.

Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., the main entrance is closed and you can use the entrance through the Spoorweglaan (emergency department).

Transportation from and to BrusselsAirport

The distance between Brussels airport and our hospital is approximately 50 kilometres and takes about 45 minutes, depending on the traffic.

Every hour, a direct coach servicedeparts from BrusselsAirport to the city centre of Antwerp. This coach service is operated every day, except on 25 Decemberand 1 January. The coaches leave fromthe back of platform B at the bus station(level 0).
The stop ‘De Keyserlei’ (near the central station) is always served, the stop‘CrownePlaza’ is only served on request.
