Visual Regulations for use of Logo

We have created some Visual usage rules for our logo.

Why?

When everyone uses the logo in the same way it increases the awareness of the brand. The quality of the brand and this in turn helps everyone.

The Logo
Size
The size of the logo should be appropriate for the media and used prominently. It should also not be situated within a Box unless used as part of the templates that are available.
A4 – No less than 60mm
A5 – No less than 40mm

Colour/Contrast
We allow people to change the colour of the logo but not its contrast.

Background
The Logo must be situated on a plain single colour background. It should not be used on patterns or busy areas of photographs.

Exclusion
There must be an exclusion zone around the logo where no other text or image penetrates. This area must be at least half of the logo size.

Our name: “The Bradford Playhouse,” Email Address, Phone Number and Web Address appear on all advertising where our Box Office is being used.

Submissions
For any item that contains our Logo a submission for use must be made. Electronic submissions should be made in either PDF of TIFF format as these are the only software applications that guarantee screen views remain the same.

Where submission is made electronically it remains the responsibility of the company to ensure the cut version is the same as electronically supplied. We will not accept posters that have content cut off because of the printing method used.

How to not use The Bradford Playhouse logo:

Do not italicise the logo.

Do not distort the logo.

Do not use the logo as a repeat pattern.

Do not outline the logo.

Do not use the logo within text.

Do not tint or add graduated tones.

Do not attempt to reproduce the logo using computer systems.

Do not stack the logo vertically or turn it on its side.

Finally, please tell us if you’re experiencing problems concerning promotional material and Press Releases. We may be able to help - and it may save you time and money by not having to reprint expensive promo material because of simpleerrors which could have been avoided.
