  • Year 7-12 Assembly during long homegroup
  • Orientation/ tour of school (period 2) – Year 7 (German) students, Aussie hosts to normal classes
  • School classes with hosts (periods 3 & 4)
/ Huggins – short way up, long way via reservoirs on the way back (periods 5 & 6) (German & Aussie students) / Welcome Evening Wandi Hall -bush dancing. BYO everything/food to share – 6:30-9:00pm
RSVP for film night on Sunday. All students, host families, staff and other students from Bright P-12 College, invitation to other German speaking people in the community.

  • School classes at Bright P-12 College (periods 3 & 4) German students to primary & secondary classes. Aussies to normal classes

  • Town orientation (9-10:30)
  • Meet the Mayor (10:30-12:00) (Bad Aibling German students only). Aussie students and BJR students to normal classes
/ Camp in Wandiligong – (German and Aussie students, BJR students) Bus at 1:30 with Helen Thornton to Gold Panning Wandi oval.
20 students must camp, 38 beds available.
Disco/ concert

Cost: $45 per student, must pay prior to camp

Mon 10/4 / Mt.Buffalo –
  • 9:15 am bus up. We will aim to see: Cresta, Cathedral Hump track, LakeCatani walk to the Chalet, ranger talk about Mt Buffalo
  • BYO Day pack with plenty of water, food and protective clothing suitable for weather conditions.
  • Return to school 3:00pm

Transport 4 students each to schools in private vehicles / Farewell evening – BBQ at Brian Flemming’s in Harrietville 5:30pm. BYO everything, school BBQ. (HowittPark if wet and raining)
RSVP for Sunday breakfast in the park.
Thurs 13/4 / Normal classes with hosts periods 1-4 / Secondary school BBQ lunch (organised by SRC) / Period 5 free time, last photo opportunities around the school
Period 6 Aussies to join Germans for photos, farewells etc.
Fri 14/4 / Good Friday with families /
