Visionary Design Systems Case
MANA 5322
The following items are to be addressed in a 15 minute presentation and/or 6-8 page paper. Include as many members of the group in the actual presentation as is reasonable. Be prepared for the class to ask questions of you following your presentation. All presentations must be in Power Point and submitted on or before November 17. All questions must be addressed in the paper but you can decide the appropriate information to be included in the presentation. The presentation needs to be close to 15 minutes in length so adjust the topic appropriately to meet that objective and be sure that you cover a complete section. For example, if you require 15 minutes to discuss the company’s business and compensation strategy then you may choose to only present that information or if want to cover highlights of all items you may choose to do so, or if you want to discuss the compensation assessment that is acceptable. The follow-up paper however must address all of the questions. Wewill draw to determine the order of presentation. Each group must also write up their findings and assessments in a 6-8 page paper. This paper provides an opportunity to more fully describe the group’s theories as to the compensation approach of Visionary Design Systems as well as the recommendations for PDM. The paper is due on December 1.
